20Mb UPC in Dublin 3, I think they're oversubscribed. :( There's 5 other UPC routers in my vicinity at least!

    It this a wireless result?

If there are five other UPC routers in range using the same wireless channel it will slow your wireless reception down.

I got the UPC 50Meg and it was really slow until I changed the wireless channel.

Yes but I'm on 802.11a/n. There's no other 5 GHz routers in the area.

Still I would try another channel it made all the difference for me and this is a wireless result.

Since it says the ISP is "Local Ethernet", it's probably via this.

Can anyone tell me should this be good enough? Just got Vodafone 8Mb in the house. Thanks for any advice. Also, can everyone tell me the homepage for vodafone to look at the settings? Thanks

For things like gaming speed is not everything a low ping is what you need and your ping looks ok.

The other thing is no packet loss and you have some and that is not a good sign.

I'm happy enough with it but I go over 15GB easily within the first two weeks...
It reset on the 18th and I'm on 9GB already and I haven't been using it much. :(
Let's hope Eircom are the same/better.

Meant to be UPC 25Mbit here in Waterford City. Deteriorating over the last few months but this week has been very poor.

    Worse in the evening:

UTV Internet Limerick. Used to get around 4mb/s consistently. It's been terrible like this for about 2 weeks now. And I'm paying them extra each month for no download cap.
