I've been in Mc Brides in athlone and I wont be going back. He is expensive to say the least. David is a sound man to deal with and very keenly priced. Hes only 20mins outside athlone.

There's a shop at the bottom of Pearse Street in Athlone called 'Scully Guns and Tackle'.

Don't think so. last i called in they were tryin to sort out the legal side of things since poor Gerry Scully (RIP) passed away. Do no harm to ring them. the number is in the yellow pages or Google Scully guns and tackle Athlone

Scullys is opened wed-sat, although I deal with David Mulivihill as he is the cheapest and knows me well. McBride can be a bit pricey and not as welcoming as in letting you get the fell for the guns.
There a dealer in Rahan Co. Offaly and one in Mount-Nugent in Cavan just outside Castlepollard.
Sorry also forgot to mention Davids brother Des has a shop in Mullingar.

Not at all, I walk past most days and it's quite busy.
