    When's the beers in Limerick?
Or does she have a secret double life, like Wonderwoman?
By day, a mild mannered student, who listens to Coldplay and enjoys films starring Julia Roberts, by night she's watching Korean porn, listening to J-Pop and playing Mother 2!

    I don't want you to endanger your lives for a beers! ;^;
And no it's just the night part, all the time.

It's no wonder he finds you irresistible!

Don't you have urges then to go up and defend your man, against the awesome might of Sauron/his mum? She's giving him a hard time these days.
I tried to steer him towards the bleeding hearts dept here at boards but I don't think he did it.

Sera is afraid of my mam. You would be too if you knew her :P

I charm Mammys everywhere, it's a gift, and the fact that I am now closer to their age... :(

    On a brighter note...

It's going to be a hard sell. She's already classified you as the gaming weirdo in Swords (all the arcade and retro people are weirdos according to her) :)

She knows I actually have a career, right?
Come on now, I expect you to come to my defence here!
It's bad enough everyone in work knowing I'm a "gaming weirdo" never mind your mum!

Is she aware we have a hipster in our group? Would this generate some appreciation of us as a group of humanitarians, taking in all sorts regardless of their crimes against fashion?

    Exactly!

I also hope you let her know that I'm a pretty big wheel down at the cracker factory.

Ooh and tell her I'm a raging alcoholic party animal and a bad boy who plays by his own rules. She'll think I'm so cool and be all like "OMG retro I never knew your friends were so cool, have all this money and buy games".

Ah ha! I'm playing either that or the megaman 2 theme at my funeral. Going get a coffin shaped like Fire Stingray and I'm bringing all my gaming stuff into the afterlife Egpytian style.

You know the awesome shootout scene in Children Of Men, that was shot in Limerick by secret cameras.

Does ebay not care at all about people openly selling repro's? Isn't this piracy? http://www.ebay.ie/itm/PULSEMAN-Megadrive-/170770052279?pt=UK_PC_Video_Games_Video_Games_JS&hash=item27c2b034b7

    Master of the Universe

I keep reporting those auctions, especially ones which aren't labelled as repros. Nothing is ever done about them though :(

What mainly pisses me off about them is I have a load of ebay alerts set up for when rare games are listed. These pieces of crap keep popping up.

Got the new retrogamer if anyone is interested. Not a great issue.

Making of 3D monster maze, should be interesting
Megaman series article. The muppet that wrote it thought Megaman 4 and 6 were good games, I think not.
    A Soul Calibur retrospective.
    Top 25 Amstrad games? meh
Spectrum vs. C64. They also dismiss the Atari 8-bits as also rans which is bound to upset luas dublin
One for ciderman: short article on Golden Axe
Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance??? Could they not pick a good modern classic?
And lastly an interview with Eric Chahi which is probably the most interesting thing in it.

Next months mag is the 100th issue.

Hey where's the best place to get rgb cables for Snes and GameCube, and also a s video one for n64?

Dog has just made a mess of a load of my leads and a few controllers, luckily I have spare controllers.

  • Moderators, Category Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 54,076 CMod ✭✭✭✭Retr0gamer

Consolegoods.co.uk are the only place I know that do the PAL N64 modified s-video cables. They also sell SNES RGB cables that have been premodded to work on the SNES. These cables will work on the Gamecube as well.
