    Thats brilliant, good work!

Gonna make the lasagne myself this weekend and freeze all 4 portions. I usually have some form of ready meal in the freezer for handyness sake, but think im gonna start bulk freezing my own - cos even those the Tesco Lighter Choices ones arent bad tasting, they are still high in sugar and salt and prob better to be eating home made!

Can I please get this lasagne recipe and points?! Have mince at home & would love to make this to use it! :D

Jwacqui put up this video the other day: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bPVzxAWOAdA&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL

that gave me the idea to make it but I just did my normal lasagne and pointed it. It makes four portions.

    1 Onion
    3 gloves of Garlic
    2 Carrots
    Red and Yellow Peppers
    Mushrooms
Tray of Lean Steak Mince 24pp
3/4 of a Jar Dunnes Hot and Spicy Pasta Sauce 3pp
Roma White Lasagne Sauce (I used 4 spoonfuls and weighed them as it was was 20pp for the Jar) 3pp
    4x Lasagne Sheets 8pp
    80g of Aldi Mozzarella 7pp

Was so good and worth the 11pp as it was a big portion. Just had another portion for lunch as I was typing this!

Does anyone else feel suddenly starving immediately after eating fruit?! Like I eat it and fruit salad as a snack, and the starvation usually subsides if I wait about a half hour or so. But - Nightmare no!?!

Hi everyone! Just said I'd introduce myself after lurking for the first few weeks of my (probably) fifth stab at making it to the elusive 10'7" - I got to 10'11" as the closest ever but I'm getting married this year and I really want to use that as my motivation this time around! I restarted WW two weeks ago (my starting weight was 12'0.5" (EEEEEEEEEKKK!)) and have lost a pound a week my first two weeks - I seem to do REALLY well all week and then cave at the weekends... Though I must be doing something right because I'm getting the minus sign :D

Just wondering has anyone been trying the filling and healthy days? I'm vegetarian and I think that it would be great for me (chickpeas, lentils, beans are very high in propoints but are the cornerstone of a healthy veggie diet so i've been struggling with that). It seems nearly too good to be true and I've an awful feeling I could gorge like noones business :(

Oh and I am absolutely going to make that lasagne with Quorn mince - sounds gorgeous.

Depends on the fruit - i always find it with apples so i just dont eat them. I'm fussy about fruit though - much rather munching on veggies as a snack to fruit.

I had kiwi, mango, pineapple, peach & grapes.

I always think of veggies as lunch or dinner, not snacks, as I don't like raw veggies

Just back from lunch (Lovely tuna wrap and salad) but prior to that I was in a meeting ALL morning! So even though I had brought my cereal with me, that had gone out the window.... and HORROR.... I had a small danish.

Anyone any idea of how many points are in danishes?? I literally took the smallest one that was on offer...

Had great plans to be sooooo good today and yet this bloody meeting totally blindsided me. Stuck in a conference room for 4 hours broke me! :P

I understand your eeeek moment! As I also started at 12'5 two weeks ago! Here's hoping we keep going down in numbers! :D

I tend to use my weekly points over Sat & Sun mostly. Not on purpose, but I just tend to want to eat more frequently when I'm at home as opposed to being in work. But I just track it and it works fine for me ;)

Do you notice that sometimes you can get mangoes that are lovely and other times they can be quite chalky??? I've noticed this a few times, and sometimes it makes me rethink the whole thing.

They are lovely in that 0pp smoothie.... but just sometimes on their own.... not so much!!! :P

Hi everyone, I'm kinda new to boards but no newbie to ww. I've been going to ww on and off since I was 16 (now 27). My first ever weigh in, I was 16st 5lbs, I'm 5ft 2 and I was like a blimp o_O I got down to 11st 4lbs back then! Thought that was good enough but anyhow I went back to ww in 2010 after I had my son. I was 14st 2lbs!! By June 2011 I got down to 12st 5lbs, not much of a loss considering the time span. I stopped going and haven't been back since! But I've been reading both threads and I feel like I've gained my confidence and motivation back! I've weighed myself at home and I'm 13st 1lb, it's slowly creeping back up!! I've made note of all your recipes and Going to try out everything!

Hoping everyone has a great success in the weight loss!!

Was actually my first encounter with trying to chop a mango. Oh the fiasco! Had to look it up online & everything! Anyway, I don't think it tastes nice enough for all the hassle it takes! So off my fruit salad list for the future! :D

Best of luck Sara! I am in the same boat as you. Been on the WW train so many times... this time I'm determined. When I started I was almost 15st got down to 12 off then left, back again at 13st odd then left again and so on so forth. This time I started at 12st 6.5lb and thanks to the ladies (and lads) on this forum I am sticking to it. I'm going for my 3rd WI tomorrow and I am down 5lb so far. This forum is a GODSEND!!!!

Missing my WI tomorrow morning because I'm going out tonight and staying down in college (I usually commute). So, gonna go to a different meeting tomorrow night. In the past I wouldn't have bothered going for a WI the day after a night on the town but I'm determined to go this week. I expect to be up given the weekend away and tonight, but still gonna go get weighed in. Hopefully this will keep me on track. Been really good yesterday and so far today. If I got a sts I'd fall off the scales with happiness! :D

    Hey Folks

I am in the middle of preparing dinner and decided to double check the pro points as given by Tesco Light Choice range. It says that in 127g of Sweet and Sour sauce there is 1/2 a point. I used two different calculators and they both say it equals 2 points! I am so annoyed and now wondering if they have the information wrong on all their Light Choice's range.

Am I missing something or do I need to email a complaint.

Well done on all your exercise! I'm very bad at getting up & doing anything :-/ I'll have to at some stage when the lbs become stagnant! ;-)

I found the same on some of the count on us range from Marks and Spencers. I think they are still using the old points system for some things, got excited one day when I found Count on us crisps marked as 1 point but when I check it myself they were 2 points.
Moral of the story seems to be to check the points and not trust the non WW brands to get the points right.

Yeah you're right! I am going to check everything from now on. I only realised this week also that have two portions of something usually adds an extra point too! Thanks for the advice :)

If it's half a point it's the old system not pro points!

So I said it to the girl at the desk about the prepays. There were two that I had missed (apparently if you prepay and miss weeks you lose prepays for every week you missed) However, she said that I used a prepay last week. I told her that I definitely paid the €10 and she said that the money last week was correct. It was a bit of an impasse and I wasn't going to argue about it so I told her it was grand. There was obviously another mistake along the way last week because I know hand on heart that I paid cash, because it was my last tenner before payday. The girl was nice about it but as far as she was concerned the money balanced so that was that. Bleh, I'd be hesitant to bother with prepays in future tbh. More hassle than they're worth.

So delighted that with my potatoes for dinner this evening i'm going to have garlic butter, and still be well within my dailies!

Maybe even some chocolate later! =)
