If it was called a TD on field, its reviewed automatically, if its not ruled a TD then how can it be reviewed?

Because it was in the final two minutes...you know...another basic rule!

What time is kick off in the NFC game?
Anytime now but maybe not 'til midnight.

On that game, I really do believe that one player who is just unstoppable is Hakeem Nicks. If Eli gets time in the pocket he could be the difference, thing is he might not get time in the pocket with Justin Smith on fire at the moment.

Some of the reactions to Cundiff's miss are disgraceful. Pressure is a major factor in sport and its a factor that makes it so great, especially in the NFL.

Hoping the Giants take it all now.

Any estimates on what time this NFC game will be over at?

    Starting now.
3 to 4 hours I suppose. Dont care. Took tomorrow off work.

Another basic rule is every play under two minutes can be reviewed if the upstairs offical deems it worth of a review.

    Yes it is.

But it was quite clear that it was not worth a review!

Some reactions are bad, but even if you can make those, a weak kickoff leg (as he has had this year) and you can't hit 50, get out of the league.

Just to add that as it as under 2 ins to go the guys in the booth get to call a review if they deem it necessary or if there are any doubts....clearly by not calling for a review they were happy with the on-field call of no TD.

But not basic. For me, holding the ball, in bounds (as shown by 2 feet down), in the endzone, touchdown. I just either haven't seen that rule called by the zebras before, or wasn't paying attention.

He didn't get both feet down as shown clearly on the replay...therefore no TD.

Why is it that the zebras are always very hasty to review inside the 2 minutes (see the Kuhn "TD" vs. Giants last year at end of first half) but very often clear TDs are reviewed (not just looked at, the ref coming out and saying that it is under review)?

It wasn't a TD anyways. He didn't get 2 feet down.

    Every TD score is reviewable!

Lee is such a great punter. The field position he gives the 49ers is a massive advantage that seems to get overlooked.

As is every play inside the 2 minutes.

A lot of the time those clear Td's are only clear because of taking a closer look though, not just having a quick look at a replay, having to view it from different angles etc.. or having to check for different parts of the play to make sure they are all ok.

The idea is to get it as right as possible, sometimes reviews are needed for that.

Not just reviewable. The refs have to review them, they have no choice.

New rule this season is that ALL scoring plays are reviewed...even the 100% clear ones.

    This is actually quite tedious

    Once more

Every touchdown scored HAS to be reviewed, automatically, no way around it.

Every play inside 2 minutes warning CAN be reviewed if deemed necessary.

Cruz...Cruz,,,Cruz...(had that one on my clipboard) :D

It's tedious because you made a big deal about people not knowing the rules and then claimed the play couldn't have been reviewed. Then pretended you didn't.

It doesn't mean they HAVE to review it (unless it's ruled a TD on the field), whereas the rule is that every scoring TD HAS to be reviewed!

Don't know why they're saying Cruz is such a suprise this season

He was the star of the pre season a year before, it was clear to all he had a big future

What I'm saying is that when there is no need to they often take a minute to look at clear scores, but we get none of it on non-TD plays inside the 2 minutes.

    ****in hell

Ok Ill run through this once more

The guy said with the amount of clear Td's reviewed they should have reviewed that, no mention of a two minute review there is there?

simply asking why they didnt review it when they review so many obvious tds

Absolutely no pretending of anything on my part as there didnt need to be

This point was addressed, then when he asked about the two minute reviews that point was addressed

Two separate points. Get it yet?

These slippery conditions are going to make for a very unpredictable game!

Some idiot SF player, 91 I think, while the ball was still loose decided not to go for it, but to point his hand forward indicating a first down.
