Tax until march,Nct until 2013 all for €900. The only thing that would concern me is how long it's been since the last belt change, by the looks of it it's been 52k miles since it was last done which is dodgy but if you factored a replacement into the price and got it for €750 it's a bargain. True Alfanomics :D

That and it's the best looking estate car of it's generation. Well i suppose it's not the best colour but still!

NCTd and taxed according to the add, not for long presumably though, anyway, 50mpg car for less than a grand, fsh and air con and the mileage is low enough...

OT for just a sec :)

Close but I think the E39 touring M-Sport takes the top spot.

LS 400, €1100, NCT until January 2013, if only it was nearer to Dublin

Dropped down to €950 asking today.

Yes it's so tempting, if it was in Dublin I'd have had a look at it by now. Cork is too far for a look, who know's though another drop might change my mind, she would make a great cruiser even if just held for a year and sold on.

    €500 and NCT until August

Yeah was just about to post that LS400 as it's gone down. Shame to see it so cheap - if it's in as good condition as it looks it's a steal. Feckin' Irish attitudes to cars

If that was a true VTS it would be a 2L.

    Xsara Mk1

    1.8L (1761 cc) 66 kW (90 PS; 89 hp) XU7JB 4 cylinder petrol
    1.8L (1761 cc) 76 kW (103 PS; 102 hp) XU7JP 4 cylinder petrol
    1.8L (1761 cc 16-valve DOHC) 82 kW (110 hp) XU7JP4 4 cylinder petrol 155 N·m
    2.0L (1998 cc) 92 kW (125 PS; 123 hp) XU10J2C 4 cylinder petrol
    2.0L (1998 cc 16-valve DOHC) 99 kW (135 PS; 133 hp) XU10J4R 4 cylinder petrol
    2.0L (1998 cc 16-valve DOHC) 122 kW (166 PS; 164 hp) XU10J4RS 4 cylinder petrol (used in Xsara VTS)

No high output 1.8s there... I bet it's a VTR.

Says vts here but always thought they were 2litres aswell.

There were 1.8 vts ones sold from new, quite possibly dealer specials or whatever but there's a fair few of them about and all parts catalogues used to list then too, they weren't at all akin to the 2.0 vts admittedly. But if Wikipedia doesn't say that it can't be true :pac:
