And a nice 626 for 445euro with a years NCT.

626 posted a lot here. Very reliable car. Far from a bargain at the usual €1000 / €1200 / €1500 they are usually posted with, but at €400 with a years NCT it's one of the best bangernomics on this thread. Good find!!!

1.8 Rover 600 NCT for 2 months and taxed for 3!
    €450
Tax cost alone is approx €160-170

Get it and NCT it asap? Could be a winner? If not, break it for the goodies and scrap the shell? You wouldn't lose much if anything if it turned out to be a lemon in that case.

Pretty nice deal, NCT til next year, Tax til April. Asking 950, but I'm sure 800 would take it.

98 Lancer with the 1.3, but a nice runabout for 350euro, tax til the end of the month and NCT due in March, worth a punt all the same.

Edit: Had to add this since it was on my travels on Done Deal:

Punto NCT til end of month, but squinting at tax disk is was only done last May, so maybe they can't afford to put it through, I'm sure it's worth another gamble? 250euro

One more, then that's it for today. Skoda octavia, NCT til Oct this year, asking 900 but will take offers.

700 would take it for sure. 1.6 so it will actually move.

Mondeo looks like great value. RS Alloys, seeminly intact bumpers and a lovely powerplant. SLX is the run out Mk1 too with close on ghia spec, i.e. velour seats, lit door handles, electric mirrors, two airbags and the all important ABS.

Someone buy it and save a Mk1.

No leather but damn that car looks well!

    That 166 is on stilts:eek:
    Needs moar low :D

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,575 ✭✭✭166man

A nice find is that 166, but the lack of leather is a big turn off, but I suppose you could find a donor interior somewhere. Also one of the wheels is flat the rear left one. On the positive side, its a 166 with 93k miles, a year NCT and the nicer wheels..:D

    I like it.

It would be an interesting track day car alright! V6 petrol up front, RWD and a manual gearbox...:D

Oh I think it's an S-Type too just to be annoying...:p

yep, I like them too, cos they still cut a kind of freshness.....styling wise, the petrols are ok, the diesels are a bag of cack alright.

The Mazda? What's up with the petrols? Just asking, likely to feature on my bangernomics hitlist soon...

From what i've heard the petrol engines are fairly bad too, same engine as the mondeo, iirc.

I though from reading here mazda engines were considered bulletproof or was that the older models??

Anyways here is something a little different from the luxobarges, hatchbacks, saloons........ its an SUV 4x4:eek: and its an MPV:eek: all rolled into one.:D

    View2-9065283.jpeg

you have a choice, get a 2001 model with all servised and a years nct and some tax, or you can go up in the years and get a higher spec with no tax and 6 months NCT...
I'd pump for the 2nd choice, I know its not a bangernomics cos of the no tax, but your buying a higher spec 2004 car for a 2001 price

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,505 ✭✭✭barura

Hey that's pretty cool! Always liked the look of those yokes!

Would have dismissed this if someone other than yourself (or a certain few other people on here) had said it. News to me, will have to suss it out!

166 looks odd. Is it sittting too high or are the wheels too small?

Tax is a bonus, a rare one at that :)
