I saw this idea on another forum and thought to give it a go here. Title says it all. - Any time you buy some new arcade or retro goodies post about it here so we can all admire/drool in jealousy.... (And plan to raid your house :pac:) Pictures optional...but better!

Got some awesome stuff for christmas. From the mother I got a pikachu ds charging stand, super Mario land 3d, forza 4 and nfs the run. From my uncle I got mariokart 7. From my awesome secret santa over on retrocollect I got a Japanese megadrive game ( can't figure out what it is :P), a set of nintendo badges, pokemon silver with a full shiny pokedex, the jungle book, ms pacman Aladdin, and the lion king all brand new and sealed in the game gear, a set of sonc x figurines, motor toon grand prix on the ps1, the humans on the gameboy and an action reply for something.

So yeah not a bad Christmas at all!

Got a 3DS Marioland white edition. Brother got mario kart 7 so played a bit of that, one race and that was it, hogged it all for himself!

Marioland is good but easy, liking the nods to previous games with the music, flag finish etc.

Hard to keep the 3D from slipping off when moving the screen, it's frustrating.

I haven't gotten near anything more sophisticated than my phone and kindle in the last fortnight!

Spoilers i haven't finished it yet and now you've ruined special world . Only been playing it for a few mins here and there.

Ridge Racer 3D is only €12.98 new at the moment in Game so went ahead and picked that up. Also got (don't judge) Nintendogs & Cats because it was half price at €25 and I liked the first one. So building up a nice little library of 3DS games.

I couldn't find Shinobi for the 3DS anywhere in town. Blessing in disguise, seems you can get it far cheaper on ebay now. Just got it for €28 delivered from a UK seller.

I saw Shinobi in Game in Blanch, not sure how much though.

Saw a Wii game Major Minor, nearly bought it as it was on a fiver, but sense took hold and I walked away.

Skylanders has decided to freeze, on the 360, just after a particular battle in the Creep Citadel, more importantly it happens 3 hours after I threw away the outer packaging! Arse!
