I am so jealous of your luck with evermore there. Where'd you get it for so cheap?!

Mrs.Quin's in Kimmage. I pass by it every once in a while, it tends to be a bit of an obscure place to pick up the occasional gem. I had some luck finding it as it was obscured by some draping belts and a picture frame, but I'm grateful they stuck it out regardless. I know someone who used to run a charity shop, and I'd hear the most horrendous tales of all sorts of comics, games and consoles being dumped by middle-aged, oblivious volunteers, as they figured they wouldn't sell.
Oddly, the 700th dusty copy of the Da Vinci Code seems to goes untouched.

Yeah, and it was completely knobbled by Sony they dragged it through the courts until after the PS2 came out.
But, I guess, a PS emulator on the DC was never going to be the right way of saving the Dreamcast from relative obscurity, was it?

    Fapping hell
I got the following from adverts for 22 quid

2 GameGears (one in need of new caps , the other needs a backlight and button replacement , which are supplied and just need to be fitted)
2 TV tuners (one needs a new aerial , but has AV and Ext in , the other seems to be German , and just has AV in , but both work)
    1 PSU
    1 Travel PSU
    1 carry case
9 games (columns , sonic 2, sonic chaos, 4 in 1, Last crusade, spiderman, mickey mouse, Monaco,Micro machines)
...and they also threw in a free sim card converter for a laugh
    :)

Nice stuff sir, was only playing Futari 1.5 on the cab the other night, it's a good game that. Although it does feel a bit strange shooting animals/dinosaurs/whatever they are (not as strange as Muchi Muchi Pork though).

/Edit: My Great 100 Mile Rally PCB arrived in great nick this morning. Hooked it up to the CRT via supergun for a min to check it - all works and sounds great. :)

Those art books look great! That's another collecting hobby I steer clear from. Looks to be dangerously addictive.

Great little book that. Gets a few minor facts wrong though.

Hmm, now I feel like browsing through my own artbooks, too!

I think I just got a prototype of Bio Metal on the Snes. US/EU version.

The guy had UK only, but I changed my address to Northern Ireland, UK and my offer was automatically accepted.

    Fingers crossed...

And an even BIGGER fingers crossed that it's different to the final version. I was going to wait till the seller got back to me, but then noticed someone else put two offers in.

Would be cool if it was the Western version but without the 2 Unlimited soundtrack.

The joys of having a legit UK address and someone to send your stuff on to you!

What's the point. The only thing that game had was the curiousity factor of a 2Unlimited soundtrack :P

Must be very useful alright. Sometimes I really think it would have been handy if that 1916 rising thing never happened!

    Two Untalented more like.
I suffered in Sligo back in 91 where they seemed to believe that mainstream dance music began and ended with 2 Unlimited and Dr Alban...
    Dark days indeed....

    Talk about mixing time periods!
Next it'll be cavemen and dinosaurs, sharing the screen!!!

I preferred Public Enemy, Naughty By Nature, Kris Kross, 808 State, Prodigy and Altern-8 myself, but there you go...

Picked up a few bits over the last month or so.

    1. Playstation 2 games.
I mentioned these before but here's a picture. They were €1 each in a charity shop so €16 for the lot. Not a bad haul.
    Playstation2games.jpg

    What charity shop was this!?

Every time I go looking in charity shops around dublin its all sports games

Some people have all the luck! :o
