Question: what's happening Terry, there is video evidence against him. It is beginning to show the fa for what they are if a foreigner gets banned for alleged racism, but one of their own avoids it with clear evidence just because he is denying it.
It's taken how long to convict suarez? Terry is still under investigation

I accept that I've made myself look like a bit of a tit here, so apologies about that.

It's unfortunate that my firewall is so restrictive.

Nope we are defending him because he is innocent, see the difference.

I have no leanings either way on this situation, but that's just a stupid statment right there.

You may not be happy about the ruling because it may be based on one persons evidence but that doesn't make it untrue?

You or I still don't know if he is innocent but I wouldn't go defending him without knowing the facts.

I thought I removed the part of my post, and didn't re-read my post again.

Look, it's obvious enough what's going to happen here, I'll be accused of

    a. telling lies about this
    b. trying to troll
    c. my apology won't be accepted

So I'm bowing out of the discussion, see yiz in another thread.

Bingo. "You or I still don't know if he is innocent but I wouldn't go defending him without knowing the facts"....so why go accusing him on one mans word alone. The FA need to show any evidence of his guilt asap and that means today because they are tarnishing his good name.

I really want the club to take this to the highest level possible and sue the living sh it out of the FA for this terrible verdict.

Yea just like the topic being discussed people can get taken up wrongly and falsely accused and persecuted .

But you have the luxury of just "bowing out "

    LOL.

You have no idea what evidence was used(excluding a LFC statement, which btw is a crock of ****e)/given, so for you too state it's a 'terrible' verdict is moronic to highest degree. Well done.

Do you really think LFC would say such a thing if they knew there was evidence against Suarez? Think about that for a minute.

And good on you calling my views "moronic" believe it or not it is a terrible (but not surprising) verdict from the FA.

If a fan was caught calling a black player a n*gger in England how long would they be banned for?

    life ban.

I think the ban is very lenient. Should have been a time ban, and endorsed worldwide by FIFA to send out a strong message.

That one man COULD be telling the truth though! Just because he is the only one giving evidence doesn't mean it's not true. Really we don't know if he is telling the truth or not but he could be and Suarez could be guilty?

I understand you might want Liverpool to appeal and take this as high as they can. That's their right to do so.

Suarez's is a great player but his name isn't untarnished is it? That does not mean I think because he chewed on some other players lug he is clearly a racist.

I will try elaborate just on one part, it was enough to make my head hurt and i dont wanna get into this

You say the FA basically came out and said Suarez couldnt prove he was innocent so they banned him or something like that

Thats wrong, thats so wrong it displays a lack of intelligence on where the burden of proof lies with a charge,

screw it ill give you two, Liverpool Football Club had absolutely no problem with the members of the independant commitee and could have vetoed anybody on it that they did have an issue with. Get over it and take your tin foil hat off

And you know what **** it ill give you one more

This is what will leave a dark cloud over Suarez's career???

this? are you insane? do you actually know who Luis Suarez is?

Did you see him bite another player on the pitch? did you see him stick his finger up at fans? did you see his handball in the world cup? the laughing and celebrating he did after it? did you see his attempt to seriously injure a fellow pro then fake injury himself to try avoid punishment?

Have you ever watched him play?

There are plenty of clouds over this "young player"s career

just a LOL at that, 99.9999999999999% of players would have done the same thing if it was them

The Liverpool statement isn't all that surprising.

That was their attitude towards this from the get go and it would be embarrassing for the club to have backtracked on that stance, especially when it's an incident involving racism.

One can only assume that The FA are on safe ground with this decision given the length of time spent bringing about the charges and delivering the verdict. It'll be interesting to see how it pans out nonetheless and I'm looking forward to the detailed report.

I would go farther and actually charge Pool and Dalglish for their behavior throughout this. Suarez could be explained as heat of the moment. The club and managers behavior has been thought out and planned. Despicable.

But it's not just one mans word is it now? Your good man Suarez actually admitted he said negro to Evra? So the two people present during the confrontation has back it up but no the FA has got it wrong here. Seriously get a grip.

Well there was also one party who has made an accusation here which ALOT of Liverpool fans seem to be discrediting without any basis.

So race slurs are ok then? Same punishment as a bad tackle? Lol. Moronic.

That's the thing is'nt it "he COULD be telling the truth" but if there is no evidence you can not take his word alone. Without having the whole facts of course, the impression i get is of a narrow-minded, parochial panel completely ignorant of any cultural issues outside England. they think Suarez is racist because he used a word that sounds like a bad word in English, regardless of context, and Evra did nothing wrong because they've never heard of the term "sudaca" and anyway, racism for them is simply a black and white issue. Right?

It's been said Suarez and others need to adapt to cultural norms when they come to England which is fair enough, but the FA also needs to realise that it is a global game, a league with a worldwide following and cultures exist outside England too. It's this in particular that annoys the sh it otta me.

Are you deliberately missing his point? He wants the evidence used to be made public so as to either back up or shoot down what Liverpool have claimed in their statement, i.e. that Evra's was the only testimony used for convicting him.

There's also question marks about Suarez's testimony, specifically what he has apparently admitted to saying.

He didn't advocate a lifetime ban in his post, just a time ban, football associations generally don't tend to work like that though I suppose.
    Lol. Peace out
he has a point though, even after Suarez basically admitted using racist language to Evra the club continued in their portrayal of Suarez as a pariah.

The thing I find most hilarious about this is that (a lot of) Liverpool fans suddenly having a deep worry about the fate of John Terry after this ban. Has there been another 8 month drug ban since Rio didn't use drugs and got banned?

Does Evra use the 'n' word here at the end when talking about Lampard and Hasselbaink?
