    Hi LinK3

Would you mind posting up the recipe as I cannot find it
    Much thanks in advance :-)

    Creamy Italian Chicken

Works out at 7pp per portion and then I add 40g of brown rice or baby potatoes and maybe some turnip and carrot mash, so big dinner for 11pp. The accompaniment is whatever you prefer. I know it's using something convienient like a tinned soup which maybe a little high in salt etc, but I get home late enough and it can be ready in about 20 mins.....this is a good thing

    2 Chicken Breasts
    2 cloves Garlic
    Full white onion
    Mushrooms
    Brocoli
Can of Campbells Condensed Soup Chicken or Mushroom (low fat variety)
60g Tesco Light Garlic and Herb Cheese
Optional italian seasoning herbs or I have used fresh thyme and tis lovely

Lightly fry off the onions then mushrooms until soft and browned in some fry light, and add diced chicken breasts or leave whole which ever you prefer. Fry off chicken until browned...ish (well not pink anymore).

Add in minced/chopped garlic. With the soup I use it all and then only add in another half can of water rather than a full can to keep sauce thick in a jug and I stir in 60g of the cream cheese.

Add in brocoli to pot at this point just before sauce so it's still a little firm at end.

Add in sauce and leave simmering in pot for about 10 mins or so. If using breasts you can put in dish and bake in oven at about 200 degrees for about 15-20 mins.

Voila, serve with brown rice or potatoes etc, whatever you prefer. Makes a good amount and this is ppointed based on 2 portions and 2 people.

I make this alot. Got it from the WW mag. It's really easy.

For the sauce I use passata instead of the tinned tomatoes in the recipe.

Basically put the passata or tomatoes in a pot, add garlic, capers, basil and chilli flakes and heat through. In the recipe they also put in olives.

Boil the gnocchi for about 2 mins.

Put gnocchi and sauce into ovenproof dish. Tear the mozzarella and scatter over the dish.

    Bake for about 12/15 mins.

In the recipe they use 500g gnocchi and 75g mozzarella for 2 servings. I usually only use 200g per person and put in a bit of extra mozzarella. They WW mag points it at 13pp but I make mine for 11pp per serving. (I always point any recipes myself from the ingredients I use). Also it's probably better to use full fat mozzarella and use a little less - it's much nicer.

    Enjoy. It's yum!!!

    thanks Havana

    Hey Shell

Stick with it.. If you do exercise you can eat a little more pro points from what i read over on www.weightwatchers.co.uk alot of people find the weeks the go OTT with the exercise they don't lose i am feeling it myself this week I did a four hour activity thing Saturday and I am praying for a STS!!

As with the weeklies I didn't use them at the start then started letting myself use them and I see still a loss but not the results I need! So the next few weeks I'm only going to use half them! As for my weigh in this week say a lil prayer for me i will be on tomorrow morning with my result!! Lisa

I put down 10 for those. Rule of thumb is that 20g of bread is a point. One of the micro mini rolls is 80g alone.

Hey guys, so I got this booklet at WW today called "rise & shine-it's breakfast time" and there is a recipe for chocolate banana muffins in it (3 PP) that I would love to try. The problem is that in the ingredients list there are no eggs listed, but in the directions it says to "add the egg whites" The recipe makes 12 muffins, anyone make anything similar and know how many egg whites I should add?? Im sure if Im off it won't make a difference points wise, but in the actual baking part it could make a difference!

A demi baguette is the largest one you can get. That is 8pp. The medium one which is just over half the demi is 5pp. Then the smallest one is 4pp.

Personally I am a bit wary about the large one being 8pp as it seems too good to be true. However that is what the leaders have it at.

You set for WI this week?

On Sat I stepped on the scales and was at my lowest ever (well pre-weight gain) but I feel bloated today so not sure what tomorrow will bring  Fingers crossed though!! Had 2 other little victories over the weekend. I dropped a coat size and hadn't seen a friend in 2 weeks and she was like wow you've lost more weight :)

How are you set? When do you WI?

I weigh in tomorrow morning I'm all set for a STS or a gain, did a 4 hour adventure thing on Saturday I am still swollen from it my scales is showing +0.5 so a STS will be my little miracle! I don't mind though cause I am feeling and looking better than I have in ages! and everyone notices it I am going home at the weekend will see family I havnt seen in a month so roll on the compliments! My sister started ww to so cant wait to see her we were the same start weight and she joined a few weeks after me!

It might be ok by the morning, you never know. I've the same problem. On Sat scales had me down 2lbs, then did exercise yesterday and Sun and was back up those 2lbs. My body needs a day or 2 before the weight loss will show on the scales. Like you though I feel much slimmer! Even if you do STS, think of the loss next week :)

According to ww.co.uk 330ml of heineken is 5pp and a crunchie is 5pp, so both are correct on the blog

Hi, I got the same one. My leader said they left out the eggs in the recipe but to add the 2 egg whites at 0pp..

I had my wi today...down 0.5 of a pound. Arggghhhhhhh, down yes, but only have 1.5 left.....god, its so slow... i'm considering sacrificing my bottle of red this week just to get a better loss..my leader said i might also be drinking too much water.I dont exercise as i work on my feet all day and have 3 kids at home that need me when i do get home but ive started to go swimming in the evenings now with them, just to pass these long dark evenings..anyway she said im not doing enough to warrant all that water so cut it down to 2.5 litres... im going to give that a go this week too. Maybe this time next week i will have my long sought after gold member status.

How much do you normally drink a day? I think I may be drinking too much but I'm always parched.

Lost a pound this week, happy enough with that because I weighed in slightly earlier last week so wasn't expecting a huge loss. Onwards and downwards!

I had a wedding on Sat and then we stayed for the BBQ on Sunday. For the first time since I started in June I just .....(I'm not going to use the wagon term as I grrr it)......lost the plot. 4 days of pure ridiculousness. I thought I would have drawn a line under it last night so obviously didn't exactly help myself last night and today was a bad right off again. I'm not feeling well either so I'm like ugh!

Anyways I came on here to all you guys as per usual to post it in black and white if you get me and to say I know I was ridiculous , draw a line under it and get back on track tomorrow. I hope yis will be checking up on me :) But yep the only person who can do it is me, so onwards and downwards :)

Also bear in mind some of the snacks/crisps mentioned on the blog are the multi pack ones. I was loving the LFC's until I pointed proper pack and they are 5pp not 3!! Ah well I don't eat stuff like that often so it didn't kill me. Still sad all the same!! When in doubt point as much as you can yourself, that much I've learned :)
