STS tonight. Slightly disappointed as I worked hard all week but I know its a result of my falling off the wagon the week previous. It was great to be back staying for the meetings. I've missed that and really needed it. My leader told me that I'm to focus on getting that last 2.5lbs off for my 2nd stone for next week. My post-WI binge is no more. Don't even have any cravings for anything either.

STS is great if you know why it's like that and there was no gain? Just think of another great week coming up and if you put in the same effort you will see it next week! I'm with you after last weeks conversation about it. I'm having a bag of skips 2pp and a galaxy bubbles 5pp and I'm happy out with that and only 2pp over my dailies!!

Hi all! So went out for dinner tonight like I was telling ye earlier and it turns out this place has more than just burgers so I had an omelette with ham mushroom onion and cheese and these home cut chips and salad - I had 20 points left in my daily allowance (didn't eat too much during the day) so I think the meal amounted to roughly 13/14 points so I actually prob had a few points left over but didn't use them! I'm proud of myself! I just hope it pays off :-)

Do any of you ladies find though that you might not lose anything if it's your 'time of the month?

Yep - water retention is a big factor for me around that time.

Guys, I am a huge fan of Westlife and I am so tempted to forget about WW and just surround myself with pizza, Ben and Jerry's and vodka.

Not really funny tbh. They have been one of the only things constant in my life, have gone to each of their tours. If I'm down, listening to them makes me feel better. It's obviously hard for some people to understand that and if you think I'm being stupid then fine. But I am genuinely devastated.

All things must pass, the good and the bad. Leahyl didn't intend to hurt your feelings.

Putting back on some of the weight you worked so hard to lose will only make you feel worse.

    xx

Ah I was only messing - of course I understand people like them! In fairness they did very well for themselves, more power to them - just wouldn't be my cuppa tea that's all:)

I never said you were stupid now so that's not fair!

Just an idea for a breakfast if you're sick of porridge or whatever - a big bowl of fruit (I had banana, pear and clementine) with a pot of natural yougurt (yoplait), a teaspoon of honey and some cinnamon! Delish! And all just 3pp!:)

Their music isn't going anywhere so you can still turn that on when your down! And they are going to do a farewell tour. TBH they will probably get back together in no time like all bands at the minute!!

You consuming Vodka and Ben & Jerry's will not make them reform I promise you!!

Okay so up .5lb last night and I'm not bothered in the slightest. I even came home and tried on a dress that I bought online and it wouldn't even come close to closing and that didn't even bother me.

It's a total change of mentality for me! I had a really hefty weekend of celebrating a big event with my best friend and had I consciously made the decision that I would relax and enjoy myself. I went to WI last night to face it rather than leaving it another week. I thought I would be up a lot more than that. So I obviously made better choices than I thought I did. I looked back on it realised that the socialising and having fun with my friends was more of a priority than what I ate/drank and if this was a few months back I would have made terrible food/drink choices just because everyone else was but now its like I'm programmed. They were all having their chips and I was genuinely content with my yummy salad etc! Delighted!

    Hi readers,

So im heading back to WW tonight.....

Im currently trying to concieve with little success and had a consultant appoinment today again which has made me join WW tonight! Every test has come back normal so all he is putting it down to is my weight.

So here i am..... starting a new road and looking to loose 3 stone in five months - so how do able is this?

    Any handy hints out there????

i need all the nelp i can get. i struggle with the food as im so unadventurous!!

    Hey Nicki!
    Welcome to the thread!

My first bit of advice would be to stay for the meeting, it will motivate you. I would suggest when you get home do a shopping list of all the stuff you think you will need to begin your WW journey.
Try plan your meals for the next few days, so you can do up a shopping list. If you have a sweet tooth consider buying low point stuff to try help with the cravings, Curly Wurlys are great or low fat yogurts etc.

Most definitely TRACK everything that goes in your mouth from tomorrow, and try do a bit of exercise if you can!

*walks feebly away and tells herself to start following her own advice!*

Welcome to the thread, I find that if you drink plenty of water it help! most times I graze its because I'm actually thirsty and not hungry!
Best of luck, track everythIng and remember that the small losses make all the difference!

    Hi all,

Need serious motivation. Just back from a week in the sun and really threw caution to the wind. Back since Monday and have still been eating loads of junk. I cannot seem to get started.

Just wondering would anyone know where I could find nice receipes for chicken and veg dishes? I don't eat red meat or fish and find options limted.

Also, does anyone have experience of doing WW online. Was thinking of joining instead of going back to meetings.

    Thanks everyone

Hi everyone...just registered on here as have googled pro points stuff in the past few weeks and board.ie always seems to come up so thought this would be the perfect place to chat about all things weight watchers related...lol I started weight watchers about a month ago but im terrible at tracking. I cant afford to actually get membership at the moment so im just following 29 points a day (i know i should be more as i have a lot of weight to lose but have no ideawhat daily i should be on). Just wondering if anyone knows anywhere i can check things like the esource that members have for free like an app or a website?

    Thanks :)
Hi if you can't access that app you can work out ur propoints on a weight watchers calculator all you need is ur weight, height, age and gender so if u have one or know anyone who does u should be able to get ur allowance

You could point to recipe you have.

Point each of the ingredients then you can decide how many portions to cut it into.

Didn't get to my meeting tonight, my little boy has had a bug the last 2 days and the last 36 hours have been a constant mush, I'm so tired. Trying to stay on track but it's hard when I'm worrying about him all the time, got the RTE Guide this week and it has a good WW supplement in it this time, lots of nice recipes. Will need the support of this thread this week in lieu of my meeting! Fingers crossed for a good week x

If you look on YouTube for "Miss Weight Watchers Chocolate Biscuit Cake" a girl has done one - it's in old points, but at least you'd have an idea of the best options ingredient-wise x
