In which case, if Evra has told the world that evidence exists which does not, he should be held accountable for frivilous accusations of such severity, what part of that are you not getting?

    What?

    He gets abused.
    Presumes it's on camera.
    Says ''it's on camera''.
Turns out to be mistaken and it's not on camera.

That does not mean he didn't get abused. It means he made a mistake about the camera but was still abused.

What part of it are you not getting? Did you not learn anything from your discussion with Flah earlier?

Note: I'm not saying he was definitely abused. I'm saying that one possibility is that it's not on camera but that the abuse still took place.

so if suarez cant be proven guilty, then evra should be banned?

lol...people on here watch too many soaps, f*cking drama queens.

I don't mean it's the same, obviously the origins of the word N***** are very different. But it is the same ball park. If someone on the other team said, "**** you carrot top, I'm going to ****ing do you, you ginger ****" to an actual ginger or something along those lines, it's being derogatory about the way they look, to rile them up and get the better of them. It's the same here. Shouldn't this get the same attention too?

What about Paddy bástard or French cúnt?

    Where's the line?

Should he have made the allegation though ?

Because that's the important thing, not the nonsense you're carrying on with.

The allegation should have been made to the FA - he shouldn't have run to the media at the same time making statements that I think are untrue (certainly they appear to be false so far).

Schmeichel was accused of racism by Ian Wright.

    Whatever happened with that case?

Fizzled out as far as I know, with Schmeichel strenuously denying it. I don;t think Wright backed down either.
They then went on to be pundits together on the BBC or ITV, so who knows really? Inconclusive, as these things often are.

How do they appear to be untrue???
You're just taking one persons word over another.

Yeah he should consult with you to see whether you think something is true or not before going to the media. ;)

The allegation was made to the Ref initially.

    No.
I'm not accusing Suarez of being racist until there is or isn't confirmation, that's the same for majority of united fans.

Liverpool fans seem to have their mind made up on Evra already

Check out the footage from the Marcello/Busquets incident which surfaced very soon after the game.

Nothing anything like that has surfaced yet. Despite.......

This is a very serious allegation he has levelled.

    Who are we kidding anyway.

Even if their is evidence, it'll be brushed under the carpet like the busquetts incident, because the FA won't have the balls to do anything about it.

Same if it's found out that Evra lied about it, unless one of them comes out and blatantly says it, nothing will happen, non issue really.

This is SkY were on about, they probably have hundreds of techs working for them. So your telling me there techs have not watched every second of footage over and over again since the claims were made.

Not that hard to find really, simply scan through till Evra and Suarez are within earshot of each other.

I'm assuming the incident in which Suarez allegedly made the remarks is in the second half when Liverpool were taking a corner in front of the Kop.

Suarez and Evra where on the goal line and there were definite words exchanged between the two and Evra was not happy about something that Suarez has said.

De Gea and Kuyt were beside them and both have denied hearing any racial abuse. In saying that though, both would have been concentrating on the corner and with the noise of the crowd, probably wouldn't have heard, even if there was racial abuse.

:confused: you accused evra of making false claims before, which he never did. the finnan thing came from deaf fans in the crowd and the other one, came from united backroom staff, which evra never heard.

so,you told a pack of lies and not the first liverpool fan to do so today.

He doesn't have to consult me. Just not be so frivilous about what he says, as I've said all day, he can't invent evidence for the trial by media that will ensue over the next week.

I'm aware he went to the ref. That's the correct course of action.

Does anyone realistically believe Suarez could have said that 9 or 10 times without it being noticed by anyone else or the TV cameras on each occasion?

Presumably he would have had to say it fairly loudly too so as to be heard over the noise of the crowd

    He didn't invent evidence.

You're hopping all over a trivial enough comment. It's not a particularly important one but you're holding onto it for dear life.

Take a step back and look at what's actually important here.

Its crazy how naive people are being about this point.

Then again, Evra might have misheard!!

    He didn't invent evidence.

    For the 1000th time....

""The cameras are there. You can see him say a certain word to me at least 10 times."

Now......if that footage does not exist he has clearly attempted to invent evidence against Suarez.

Perhaps intentionally for the trial by media in an effort to give his accusations more credibility, perhaps he was just mistaken & presumed it would be there.

    Either way, it's entirely unacceptable.

And there is nothing "trivial" about what he said.

Could any punishment be handed down to Patrice Evra if these claims turn out to be false?

The sad fact is that Evra can make these allegations without fear of punishment. No can prove Suarez didnt say it so Evra is free to make such claims

According to lads in the United forum, the Liverpool fans were quiet all game. So there should have been no problem De gea and Kuyt hearing these supposed words!

    @mr Alan
He didnt invent evidence, there either is evidence or there isn't.

He seems certain it was picked up on camera,if it wasn't he was just mistaken and will still stand by his original claim.

How hard is that for you to understand?

I agree, people are really naive to think that someone would openly shout a slur when they could just as easily mutter it undetected.

But theres 45,000 people there, how could they not hear someone mutter something to someone else from far away while everyone else is shouting?
