Congrats well done!!!! Those kinds of numbers are alien and allergic to me!!! I can manage 1.5 at most. All in the right diretion of course. Up .5 last week for no reason. wasn't too disheartened as that happens every now and then and my body is a wek behind so fingers crossed for later. I'm only 1.5 away from the stone mark!

Down 1.5 pounds last night. :) My optimism after the hungover eating extravaganza Sunday worked. Gonna be extra good this week though so it doesn't roll over to next week. Even got a walk in at lunch time, yay!

Down a half tonight. Which means I've lost the half pound I was up last week? I'm at a loss  I've been so good and don't get it. 30 out of my weeklies this week would that be it? I know I use about 3/4pp on biscuits a day from a nutritional point of view that can't be too bad and it's digestives so not even choc? 13 pounds and I'm at it since June  I dunno.......

cant believe it. only down a half this week. now i would normally be delighted but i stayed the same the last 2 weeks.
no drinking, loads of exercise, being so good, no takeaways!!!!!!!!
ahh just joined a gym last month and have been going 2 times a week and walk every other day. the only thing i dont do is track. i just find it so hard. im so annoyed and feel like getting a chipper. I mean normally i go out every weekend plus a takeaway.

I just dont understand it. sorry rant over!!!

Well done on all the losses guys!! Say a few prayers me tom that I get my 11th silver 7! Been a nuts week so expecting to be up! Have finally realised that although over the summer my weight loss hasnt been great, my percentage of fat has gone down! I had a follow up assessment at the gym today and my body fat percentage is down nearly 6% since my initial assessment so I'm delighted!

My pound came off at the weigh in as I expected. My goal seems to be at 25bmi rather than 24. When I first joined way back when, that was how it was done. On one hand it's quicker to get to gold, on the other I can only go 5lb below goal then. Hmm.

1lb gone last night. Very slow but going in the right direction. I certainly feel I have lost more inches than weight, clothes getting looser!! Well done everyone this week

Just wondering...what happens if you drop 6 pounds below your goal weight? Do you have to start paying again? This has always been unclear to me.
My target BMI is 23.9 but after that will see if I can get it down to 22.6. Its kinda a work in progress though. Haven't had a BMI of 23.9 in years so have to wait and see how I feel and look at that weight and decide then whether I want to lose more weight.

Am on the green tea now to help weight loss, heard it is a good appetite suppressant so giving it a go. Anyone else tried it?

Hi, trying to get my mum to join ww. I have been going for six weeks now and have been filling her in on the programme. I think I might have frightened her a bit when I point out the propoints in the food she currently eats and she thinks she just wont manage it. What I cant tell her is how many propoints she would have in a week (I have 29). Would anyone be able to tell me how many please? She is 68, 13st 7lb and 5ft 2. Thanks
    :)

Don't worry, this happens to everyone. I reached a plateau and for weeks I would go up a pound and then down the same pound. Its frustrating. I lost a stone in 2 months and then this happened and I am really struggling with the last half stone. But I would recommend trying new things like green tea and only allowing 2 points for treats during the week to see if that makes a difference. Introduce fruit instead. Think it is important to mix it up cos your body gets used to the same foods. Good Luck!

Just to let you know that it doesn't matter how much you go below your goal (provided you don't go below a BMI of 20 or else you will be classed as underweight and therefore Weightwatchers will not weigh you) Of course you don't have to pay for going below your weight.
You only pay if you weigh in anywhere above 5lbs of your original goal target as soon as you get to within 5lbs of that target you stop paying.

In other words if you go over your goal weight you never have to get back to that actual target again to stop paying, you just need to get to within 5bs of it and you can attend the class for free.

Hope that clears that one up.

Thats great Kayleen thanks. I thought you might have to reset your goal or something if you went over 5 pounds below your goal That is good news for me :-)

This was happeing to me too.... I was exercising like a lunatic, tracking EVERYTHING and using some of my weeklies and I was either maintaining or losing a half or a pound here and there....SO I had a chat with myself and took a long and serious look at my tracker and noticed that I was offering myself plenty of 'treats' each night just because I had the Propoints for them. I have switched those 'treats' now for fruit and upped my three meals to include more protein and fibre and GUESS WHAT......... I am losing 2 to 2.5lbs consistently

When it really comes down to it we are our own worst enemies!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes I know what you mean about the treats, I put aside 2 points a day for treats anymore. Some days I could use 5, so I cut down. I need something though so thats why i set aside 2, so i don't feel deprived. Dark choc is a good one, the 70% stuff. It fulfills your chocolate craving and if you weigh the lindt 70% bar and take 8g that comes in at 1 point. Not so bad. the 70% stuff is better for you cos it has less sugar.

also voortmans do a cranberry and flaxseed cookie that comes in at 2 points and is filling and nairns do a berry oatcake biscuit that comes in at 1 point. Flaxseed and oats are good for you. Thats what i tell myself anyway! also belvita fruit and fibre breakfast biscuit is 1 point for 1 biscuit( 3 for 2 biscuits unfortunately!)

Allow myself a crunchie or a some crisps at the weekend then as a proper treat.

Oh def going to try this tactic. I would eat an average 6 pp for breakfast, 7pp for lunch and 10pp for dinner so would spend the evening looking for stuff to spend my last 6 points on, and it is usually treats. I eat a good bit of fruit during the day but still only losing 1lb per weigh in. Going to try having bigger protein measures at my meals from today and see what happens!:)

1lb is a good weightloss. Anything more than 2lb per week and you will be pushing your body too hard. Your skin will lose its elasticity and you are less likely to maintain and keep it off. The new plan aims for a slower weightloss, but makes it much more sustainable.

So give yourself a good pat on the back for losing 1lb a week, there are some people that would love to be in your shoes :D

Using this tool http://www.wijvallenaf.nl/Weight-Watchers/Daily-Propoints-Target-Calculator.php I got that she can have 29 dailys + her 49 weeklies :) When I started I was on 31, I'm down to 29 now and this calc got it right for me.

Just say the 3 or 4pp you use a day for biscuits.. if you swapped that from a slice of brown bread toasted with a banana you might be using the same pp but the nv in it would be alot better for you. I find things lke the pink and whites they may be low in points and be a treat but i might aswell be eating carboard cause they are of no use to my body atall.. I have snax or a curly wurly 3 days a week i'd say so I'm no snack angel to be giving advice!

Feeling very motivated...only day two back ;) but my frame of mind is better this time around. Went on a jog last night after work and again this morn before work! Killed me but felt so great after it!

Just pointed a tin of John west tuna drained and it was coming in at only 1 pp?? Is this right.. i know the book says one can of Tuna drained at 2pp tho?
Dont know if anyone has ever mentioned this but i had Birds eye Rice Fusions last night with dinner... Mediterranean Vegatable and it was lovely.. big enough portion for 6pp! I was sick to death of having WW chips so i gave them a bash...defo worth a try!

Was down 1.5 tonight, almost gotten rid of the 2 I put on last week. It's murder to get rid of, so easy to put on - gonna track like a maniac and stick to my exercise bike & water, best of luck to everyone for this week xxx
