Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Its a bit pointless blocking out the year on the reg plates. It wouldnt take that many guesses to get it right. The red M3 was produced in 2007 and on so its either a 07, 08, 09, 10 or 11.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,436 ✭✭✭Marcinek_55

I hate when some of my photos are not display... And i'm sorry about that although it's not my fault. Just try refresh or click "show picture", you can also click on not display photo - it will be open in new window. And sorry for that once again.

    Edit:

That Renault cup seems to get around I've seen it a few times, sallns, adare manor and few other places. Good to see it gets driven and not hidden away in a garage. Cool little car.

A lot of soldiers and guards who were on UN duty in cyprus used to bring back cars. They avoided the vrt and there was some perk with the VAT as well

Singen is probably the biggest dealer in europe but there is another one called amiancars with some nice cars... they has some very rare cars for sale... There is a lot of dealers with nice cars around europe: Carugati in geneva/switzerland which always have some pagani for sale... at this time they also have maclaren for sale; dpm in monaco... few months ago they had SLR Stirling Moss for sale (it's still on website but it's sold) they also have Audi A4 DTM and R10 TDI Le Mans; prestigecars in monaco; Bob Forstner in London and H.R. Owen in London... That's only few which i know about :) But photos in dealer garage are not the same what photos on the street... it's nice to see some rare cars but i prefer photos from street (it doesn't mean that i'm not taking photos in garages) :)

why is it nessisary to blank out reg numbers in these photos

It's not but some people believe that if the number plate is visible then everyone that see's it will know the identity of the owner, where they live, how much they have in their bank account and who they voted for in the last election.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,721 ✭✭✭✭CianRyan

Yeah an it's totally different to say, seeing the same car on the road?

No use in blocking reg plates really.

It's not like that... Sometimes im asking for hiding the reg number if i put photos to internet, so im hiding them cause i dont need any problems (thats happend with F40 - last which i remember)... once i was asking to not taking a photo of car (black SLR in Dublin - irish reg) - that was only once in my life when someone told me i cant take a photo of his car - i have it anyway - 1st SLR in my life. I'm not hiding reg if i taking photos on official events (only sometimes - that's my habit and i dont know why).

First time when someone complain about that

This VW van should probably go in a vintage section but I like it anyway. I included the range rover in the pic for scale purposes only.

    Well it's definitely a rarity...say, for every 100+ S-class Mercs here there's probably 1 Panamera.

    @Dazza, where were those museums?

  • Registered Users Posts: 124 ✭✭Dazza Mc kenna

    Some more
The Ferrari Galleria is just of the main road to the ferrari factory
The Pagani Factory/Dealer is the Castelfranco Emilia Industrial estate, email in advance and its 24 euro to get a tour, but its well worth it
The Lamborghini Factory/Museum is in San't Agata Bolognese its on the Main road, the Museum has classic, Modern car and Concept cars from over the year's its a lovely place, the factory is very good too, you cant take your camera's into the factory which is a shame because you have to pass through a courtyard full of Lamborghini's 50+
The Auto museum in turin is fantastic tbh is more a celebration of the car than a museum, its mostly full of old Lancia's Alfa's and Fiat's for some stange reason:D but it still has other great cars like old caddys, jags and so on, If you have any more questions to ask go ahead :)
