True that. I think cod needs a gap year. Too be honest I'm more looking forward to blops 2 than mw3 so this year I'm getting battlefield just for a change of pace

indeed, while TNA is never a threat to WWE they wont take things further, 1996-1999 was the best time to be a wrestling fan going between WWF and WCW.

I agree COD should have a gap year, maybe a game ever 18 months even, one winter, one summer release. say november 2011 and then the next game in June 2013, they get the winter xmas market and the summer kids being on school holiday ones during the summer drought, people dont feel like its just a yearly update and it increases the longevity of the games by another two sales quarters.

Why would they? Call of Duty is the biggest entertainment franchise in the world, Activision is bigger than the movie studios! It's ridiculous but from a business point of view - why would they stop delivering COD once a year when they know they will make a massive profit on it. Most people will buy it, people who aren't huge into FPS or video games but still like to have a bash around on Call of Duty.
It will continue to sell until Activision ****s up somehow

True, and no one is making everyone buy every single installment. I played Bops for a week and that was it (****e game) so now I'm looking forward to getting into mw3 becuase it will have some of the good ideas from bops brought with it.

Just cause a game is out every year doesnt mean you have to buy it every year.

If activision could get away with releasing the game twice a year they would but instead they are releasing elite which will double the money they get out of COD diehards (14 year old kids :P)

Oh so very true! I just wana play the game.. thats it! Its crazy how they can suck money outa ppl without them even realising it!!

look at blops.. DLC no.4 coming now.. If each was €12-€15 (cant remember) then that's bout 48 to 60 quid they get on top of the game they already released!

So they pretty much are already releasing 2 games a years practically! at least you get the DLC free with elite..

Yeah I never thought about that, it would be a good idea to have actual long games.
But then again, they would be plagued with the problem of people leaving and joining mid game.

I wouldnt be so sure.. I hope your right coz it would be great!!

But I'd imagine they were testing the game and looking for footage to use for publicity and so it coulda just been a private game with the settings change to speed things up and increases the amount of game time recorded..

Looks like its a one hit kill too, that's the way it should have always been. It was pointless in MW2.

I dont like that, pick one up if you're using a class with marathon and you'll demolish people, riot shields are to support and distract not run about mowing people down with them, if they're one hit kills then MW3 has its replacement MLC combo

And the sound is amazing... I had Tritons on playing it and I could sound whore so well

Spec ops is better, way more fun than MW2

And got a Limited edition Tshirt and sew-on prestige patch
