Saw a gameplay video of someone killing two guys then taking out a Sam turret and earning a UAV. Looks like you get a point for also taking out enemy killstreaks(or strike packages)

so someone gets 2 kills and takes out my uav to get his own on points, I get two kills and take out his uav, I get another uav? I really hope it doesnt completely wreck the game with killstreaks up constantly, theres enough of that in mw2, although taking out other streaks adding to your own may mean the selfish ones who let the other guys take them out might lend a hand, finally some worthwhile stuff for bothering to take out enemy support

I can't imagine it'd be 1 point per killstreak taken out, maybe 1/2 .. 1/3 or possibly even the support class will only gain points for taking out air support.

In the video, which I'll try find later(on my phone) the guy gets a point for taking out the Sam turret. It could well be different for other killstreaks.

I like the idea to be honest. More people will be shooting stuff out of the air. Playin MW2 alot recently and no one seems to go for harriers or pavelows. So annoying

And shooting down air support leaves you pretty vulnerable on the ground. I can't see this affecting the amount of killstreaks earned but will greatly reduce the amount that stay up in the air.

I prefer the MW1 Dot sights myself but apparently you can have both, liking the custom reticles in the game especially the ^ reticle.

ah cool, didnt realise you can customise stuff

Confirmed that theres no Combat training mode :( Also the reset stats thing brings you all the way back to level 1 so you can prestige all over again  The gear option allows you to have a gun unlocked from the start of next prestige.

Nice one - like the idea of bringing your favourite gun back with you after prestiging....

I like the idea of becoming more proficient with the weapon the more you use it..

Plus, capturing clan tags after killing folk should discourage camping.

Big fan of the getting points for objective play, nothing worse than people no-one other than yourself playing the objective when playing with randomers!

Well we have to wait and see if any of this lives up to how it's supposed to be.

Oh god I can just see the new kiddie class now where they equip a good SAM weapon with scavenger and hide in some obscure corner of the map the whole game just shooting down air support to get the points. Scarper out with scavenger for more ammo then back to their hidy holes. :(

If you get all DLC = Get elite. (€50ish elite < €60 DLC)

If you buy CoD in Tesco (and maybe other shops) = Buy elite seperate (€45ish+€50ish < €100)

If you buy in HMV/GAME etc.. it's probably cheaper to get it as hardened (but you also get the hardened steelbook case/ps3 theme-xbox avatar/fanart)

I definitely saw some video's where there was a box saying "press a to join" or similar.

    saw this on twitter:

No one does, as a hardcore Battlefield fan i never predicted BF to beat Cod, not this time anyway. Battlefield will get a new legion of fans this time and who knows, their next installment just might beat it, if Activission doesn't get the finger out.

I dont believe BF will be a bad game, I just dont see it beating the sales of the worlds biggest selling media brand in one game, it just doenst really happen when these kinds of numbers are involved. Realistically it would take a steady drop in sales of COD combined with steady growth of BF over perhaps 2 -3 successive games. I will enjoy playing both but if someone asked me to bet my savings on one title to sell more ..... well....I wouldnt be betting against MW3 is all.

 Could have told them that here months ago.. oh wait, I did. ;)
