So, I heard that I was supposed to be getting information on my tutor/clubs and societies in the mail. I usually get that stuff a week later than the Irish students since I'm coming from the U.S, but I'm flying to Ireland tomorrow and since I haven't gotten anything yet I don't think I will until it's way too late. Anyone else in this situation/anyone have advice on who I could talk to about this? I'm so worried about missing crucial stuff.

You can probably get your tutor's name if you contact the Senior Tutor's Office, the clubs stuff wasn't important (just flyers/leaflets), we'll find out more next week at the stands :)

If your mail is being delivered to your home address then just ask family/friends to open it and pass on the info until you have the mail address changed

Is this the orientation pack or another one? The orientation pack is quite important.

It's a pack containing loads of leaflets for all the different societies, seperate from the orientation pack. It's not essential, but I enjoyed reading about all the clubs and socs! =P

It's been a full year since I did all that stuff... :P

From what I can remember, I never received the envelope with the information about all the societies in college. All I got was the orientation pack.

Are expired passports accepted? I got a new one last year and sometimes use my old one when I go out for ID! Don't know what security is like in Dublin though??

I've accepted expired passports before. As Dara O'Briain says, "I'm still him" :p

Hey don't worry, they're posting the tutor stuff on the notice board at the international office. Its fine, there's nothing crucial that you can't sort out here. Just make sure you bring all your letters etc

Thanks to everyone at Trinity Hall on Saturday who joined in with the Trinity Gamers Society and whacked people with swords! We all had an awesome time, and those of you who joined up were wonderful! We love you all, and don't forget to call into our stand during Freshers' Week for your membership cards and possible goodies.

To all freshers, I recommend going in and joining up early tomorrow. Most societies will have a limited amount of freshers' packs so... early = more free stuff.

    Around 12 I'd say.

I'd imagine pretty much all of the societies will have enough freshers packs to get past 12 O Clock on the first day!

I was thinking more about getting in early so that one doesn't miss any events they might like to see
