Paul McGrath's new Career

Just saw this on the rte news and felt kinda bad for Paul but I'm now having a discussion with a mate at the moment and we're in disagreement over if this is good or bad. (I reckon its crap and he must be broke to be doing this). Do people reckon he'll be a Hit or Miss....

Paul McGrath is still a legend in all matters soccer related though so I hope I give him at least some extra sales from this extra exposure (but not enough that there will be further albums :P).

Was expecting it to be cringe all the way but he's got a great voice. Wasnt cringe worthy at all, was pretty decent.

Yes if you enjoy narcoleptic voices singing to you. Other than the monotone delivery, pitch barely above speaking level and a godawful video that made me cringe so hard I nearly had back spasms, it wasn't a bad effort.

Best to listen only & ignore the cringeworthy video. I have to say i really like his voice.

Fair play to him, its not easy to leave the world of soccer behind. You must have so much time on your hands after years of training and playing to just stop, and it would be easy to let the demons take over, as happened with Paul. If music gives him a focus and is something he enjoys doing, it can only help keep him away from temptation.

ABSOLUTE LEGEND!!!!

Why is the pitch "barely above speaking level" an issue?

He sang it softly, you think he should have been roarin it? Video wasnt great but I've seen worse from established acts, also heard worse singing from a lot of extremely popular acts.

One side does look massive at one point but its just the angle I think. They evens out when he turns his head...................cant believe I'm examining a video to see what size Paul McGrath's nostrils are at 3am of a Thursday mornin. Where did it all go wrong ?
