Do you have a debit card? You should be able to pay with a debit card.

In terms of bandwidth and latency, there shouldn't be any issues in Halls. However, practically all games etc won't work right off the bat due to port blocking restrictions and the TCD proxy.

Depends on the game! What ports/protocol it uses, etc. Find a smart CS type when college/fresher's week starts, they may be able to help point you in the right direction.

I dont play any of those on PC :P

I'll need to get someone to show me how to those ports when I get up there. Unless it's just the same as opening ports on a home network, but I doubt it is.

You don't open ports. I don't even know what ports are open...You feed everything through one port.
Or bypass the proxy.
Really, it's just easier to live without. There's plenty of other things to do.

LAN works though :-o
