    If you Like a business from your business page it seems to appear more as a mutual liking than as a fan number. However if you click See All Likes, there is then a tab at the top of that that lets you look at People that Like your page or Pages that Like it, or Banned or Admin. This will show you what businesses like yours if you want to see and return the Like.

    Defeats the purpose in what way? If someone leaves a message saying they came via boards and liked your page then you will notice and return the favour. Otherwise as you said yourself you might not notice. Do you know how to check what other pages have liked your page?

    I looked on your page, and I don't think it looks unprofessional at all what Web Solutions Ireland wrote. If you don't like a comment on your wall, just delete it. With respect, I don't understand why you are bringing it up here, and I agree with Axwell, surely very fact you say that you didn't notice he 'liked' your page, until he wrote on your wall - sort of proves that it doesn't defeat the purpose??
    Personally, I'm just delighted when anyone drops by my page and interacts on the wall.
    Sorry if responding to this post is bringing the thread OT.

    A notification should come up when you log in, then just visit the page and like I think?

    Would be better if there was just an instant 'Like Back' button though, but I guess people get more exposure from someone actually seeing the page.

    No you get an email notification.

    First open FB on your personal page, then change the account to business, now click on the links in Boards Posts, you should be able to ''Like'' from there
