Glad to see I'm not the only one dreading the first week friend race. I hope I get stuck with a bunch of like-minded computer nerds in Trinity halls (assuming I get in that is).

I gotta say I'm a bit worried too, it's just such a big change and it seems so daunting! But on the other hand I've been waiting for this moment for the last couple of years so it's exciting! I really can't wait to get to know new people and everything!

So I shall see ye guys during the fresher's week so. :P

Tr071 Science. It really came down to a coin toss between comp sci and physics. Physics won.

High 5, I don't know Dublin at all. :/ If I'll find my way around the place, not even thinking of finding the way from the Halls to college, I'll consider that to be some SERIOUS miracle with my orientation skills. :P

Aaaaah, it's exciting seeing other people who are starting too :) Anyone doing Maths or English? I'll literally know nobody, and my patchy knowledge of Dublin combined with my awful sense of direction mean I'll need to make friends fast purely to find the college itself :P

Re: the transport problem after 11 PM. There is a great invention. One or five of your new friends will have a couch. They may even have a spare blanket. By Christmas, you will be carrying your own toothbrush/ change of undies in on party days. Just book the couch early before everybody else gets the same idea.
