Spoke to Amazon, a query had been sent to production team or some thing similar (hard to hear him). If any details will be available about when the touchpads will be in stock they will get in touch. 2or3 working days usually for answer.

Rang Tallaght , my reservation numbe from monday not going through properly !

They dont know where there allocated stock is !

to be honest I dont care , deposit off iPad 3 next year that I really want , this would have been nice to run Spotify off or as a gift

I preordered with expansys yesterday, a shot in the dark more than anything.
Just got an email saying that they could not fulfil the order and it was now cancelled :mad:

Expansys are out of stock and won't be able to get anymore, anywhere. So the girl on the phone told me (Who probably got 10 of them for herself)

I had to cancel my order this morning which was on "awaiting stock" after a friend got charged full price for the 16GB version which is now shipped as well!

We were both told yesterday that placing the order was fine and that difference between retail and discounted price would be applied but after calling them earlier i was told that no, the price shown on my order was the price i would pay! They have some cheek, this is disgraceful business practice :mad: - was lucky enough to be able to cancel my order. They still haven't shown the discounted price. Now waiting on Paypal refund.

My order clearly states that they won't charge my credit card without confirming I wish to proceed. If they do, I will be doing a chargeback on my credit card and they can organise returning the Touchpads.

I sent an email saying I wanted to cancel it if it wasnt at the lower price! They cancelled it this morning.

That is a joke though. But I think that if you have paid over the odds for it you can get money back from HP directly

At least we haven't resorted to bidding £170 for a 16GB model, and this from a seller who never sent out his last 2 items ! Madness.
If its worth €99 well then that's what its worth. I think people are getting carried away big time now. I'd like to know if the London rioters would have stolen these if they saw the "reduced to a giveaway £89" bargain signs!

You posted this exact comment already. Ill say it again, there is no stock anywhere in any argos stores in the country now. Its all gone. Who cares about an ipad 3, were not here to discuss overpriced, overrated shíte.
