Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ladies and gentlemen, after a brief refurbishment where a powerhose was taken to the gents, some of the ripped bar stools were repaired with tank tape and some "novelty" items were added to the johnny machine in the bogs, Yore Mas is open for business.

Feel free to unstick a stool from the floor, sit down and chose the management of your new bar.

I always knew that this place would one day reveal its true self.

It has always been a cocktail bar in disguise.

Jaysus would you go away with that.

I think we're a micro-brewery because there's been all kinds of hijinks with the bath tub upstairs. The first batch of Troutbrau shouldn't be too far off completion.

Ah Sunday morning fry, followed by a pint of plain, how I love thee.

    Morning All.

Sunday morning leftover garlic bread here.

And a Strawberry Daiquiri. Good day.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,212 ✭✭✭✭Tom Dunne

I trust it is your good self drinking the strawberry abomination, not anyone else?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,005 ✭✭✭✭Toto Wolfcastle

Strawberry Daiquiris are full of sugar so yes, it's just me. However, I wouldn't exactly call his Shredded Wheat, a banana and a small glass of orange juice the breakfast of champions.

    No toast? I like toast.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,005 ✭✭✭✭Toto Wolfcastle

    No toast. :(

We went for breakfast yesterday to a place that does amazing toast made with thick slices of their own white bread.

They obviously ran out because we ended up with sliced pan. :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,212 ✭✭✭✭Tom Dunne

    No toast here either.

Unless I want toast with a subtle hint of blue furry stuff. :(

Sliced pan does not make good toast. Only the square toasty-bread makes good toast.

I want some toast now. :(

I would love some toast. But that would entail going around to the shop to purchase the raw ingredients.

And that would entail showering/getting dressed/effort.

    Never gonna happen.

No one would ever expect you to leave the house.

I'll stick with the garlic bread. It's kind of like toast.

I think I'll stick with the blue furry stuff. It's kinda like Cashel Blue cheese.

Except more crunchy and less, um, smelly.

After years as a Brother you probably have an iron stomach so you'll probably be okay.

I have toast and left over pizza. I'm all over it

Ah, there's nothing wrong with a bit of pink paisley, and it's only on that one feature wall.

    This one's on me.
