What is the deal with the tags on this thread? :pac:

It's such a shame that she could never get her life together, I hope that scumbag Blake Fielder gets what's coming to him.

Dudess are you really a drugs advocate or are you just going out of your way to stir shiit? Either way, not classy

Maybe people shouldn't do drugs while they're 27?

Statistical probability and all that jazz

I think that siberian conccert she did a few weeks ago was so sad. Such a far cry from when she stared out. It seems like everyone was rooting for her and the majority of people seemed quite sad to her of her death. RIP

She was clearly beyond help, for a number of years now. She listened to no one & was on a self destructive path, which has sadly ended today. She may have hurt others, but she didn't mean to, in the end the person most destroyed by this is herself. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. RIP Amy, will listen to back to black tonight & toast your talent.

People don't become informed by reading entire boards.ie threads. get over yourself. I'm sure users are well capable of opening a second tab and exploring news sources
True , it's also very time consuming trying to catch up on 7 or 8 pages in so many threads, with a % of innane posts in between .

Death wish is not something ones like to use about anybody but it seems she was on this path .

    RIP.

You think it was the jazz that did it?

If you have a problem with a post or poster then report it, no need to make comment on it and further derail.

Well explain to me your thoughts on the matter of self destruction? Who was behind the wheel of the Volkswagon Golf GTI twin turbo who drove her there?

Did you believe she did it herself?

    Define the word "vindication"?

As John Lennon said: "What we do in life.......ECHOS in eternity"

    RIP Aimee.

Michael Jackson, Farrah Fosset, Brittany Murphy, Elizabeth Taylor!

I was waiting for Lindsay Lohan or Charlie Sheen to be found dead.
    I forgot about Amy Winehouse.

Well then, can't say I'm surprised but at the same time, it was such a waste of talent. :/

Thinking about the 27club prior to today, I think it comes down to what you can get away with physically when you are younger against what affects you more when you get older. You just can't keep up that lifestyle.

Anyway, RIP, pity there was nothing there that made her want to fight back & get back control of her life. I'm not a big music buff but I always knew her voice when I heard it and thought it was soulful.

    It's madness. 2009, 2010, 2011 - years of the celebra-death!
Deaths come in threes. First jackass guy, now Amy Winehouse. Whos next!

    Madness!!!

I think all the comments Im seeing on Facebook/Twitter are well out of line.
"Drug this" "Drug that" "Message to young people"
No one has any regard for relations or friends reading them.
    She was a person too.

    RIP Amy

Elizabeth Taylor was 79 when she died. Farrah Fawcett was 60-something and had been ill for a few years. Hardly surprising deaths really.

She joins John Lennon in the tour de france of death at 27...2 of the greatest song writers of these days

Both shunned by society and left to die alone, when its cold out here...by the world.

What a loss. Shame on you people.

    RIP Aimee

    John Lennon was 40.

That's for sure and I don't think Amy Winehouse was much of a songwriter. I think, like most pop stars, most of her songs were written for her. She had a good voice for sure though and was obviously a good few steps up from Britney et al.

OT but the 27 club has 5 members and no more. There's nobody I know of today that, if they die at 27, will ever be joining that club.

    Anyways, RIP Amy Winehouse.

No need to be an a-hole, regardless. 27 is way too young to die!!!
