RIP Amy.... If she wasnt under the influence for so much of her life she could have been the biggest artist around with her amazing voice. Sad to see she couldn't fight the demons and get the help she obviously so desperately needed. xxx

I was looking at those You Tube vids of her recent concerts - she seems more mentally ill and dissociated rather than "off her tits". Possibly despite her talent, this young lady just couldn't take the immense pressure that goes with it.

    He smoked and drank.

Yeah and my mam drinks tea and coffee, bloody junkie!

    Anyhow,

The autopsy report on Jeff revealed no alcohol or drugs in his system at the time of his death.

Waste of a life and a talent at least the silly girl is now at peace.

Seriously, can moderators not curtail the vulturously cruel talk going on in here? We're talking about a young girl who has died as a result of having several serious problems, which no amount of money could save her from. It is wrong to perpetuate this type of anonymous bashing that contributes more to the damage and isolation already felt by vulnerable people. Enough is enough

We can't read every post so please reports inappropriate posts, add an explanation and a mod will action it (if we agree with you).

This thread is on its last legs, wrap it up folks.

Did you report the offending posts? There's already a warning in the OP for people to stay civil.

Chiming in every so often with a post like the above isn't exactly helping the thread to remain on topic, either.

    obligiRIP

It's a good example for my daughter who liked her. Taking drugs is stupid an you end up dead.

We'll stop here, it's clear a RIP thread on Miss Winehouse cannot run without the general discussion on her death and life problems.
For further condolences and discussion - please use Celebrity or Music.
Remember, those forum are stricter and you'll probably get banned if you use AH style posting there.

    Rest in peace Amy.
