I think it would be very difficult for an Islamic extremist group to stay under the radar whilst making a fertilizer bomb.

Police believe after the NTB know that ersamme man is behind both attacks. They suspect that this is not terrorism, but a local variant aimed at the existing political system. The police should be familiar with the environment man is linked to. pst is now working with the Oslo police in the investigation of both incidents. - We still do not know what weapons he has used, or whether her husband have operated alone in both events or one of a group, said national police chief Sverre Sponheim said

In other words a false flag backfiring.

Really? Just really? Do you live in a comic book?

It just has to a be a conspiracy doesn't it?

Nothing can happen without some sort of shadow agency nowadays

Norway has mandatory military service for men so there's probably a lot of people with the knowledge of both

But the precise execution of it is what I'm questioning. But I know what you mean. The determination and hatred needed is astonishing

So distressing to see footage of people swimming for their lives.

RIP to all who have been murdered.

Also a greater chance of arms and munitions going AWOL.

I'm not at all convinced that this has anything to do with Islamic extremists.

If anything it really reminds me of the Port Arthur Massacre. One sociopathic person working alone who's very angry at the world. Especially since these reports of a suspicious man in police uniform near the scene of the explosion.

There has been a lot of speculations in the media about that.
Some say it was a tall, nordic looking man behind the shootings on Utøya,some say its uncertain because he was wearing a balaclava.
But some also say that extremist islamic groups have started to recruit people from the west into their groups,so i guess we have to see what the police finds out in the aftermath of the bombing and shooting.
They are almost certain that the two incidents are linked anyway.
The target most have been Norways goverment and labor party(arbeiderpartiet)

My first reaction to this was "what the hell did Norway do to anyone", even after learing of their Nato involvement im still shocked.

Off topic, Manic Moran what does NTM stand for at the end of your posts?

Sky News is really going over the top now with baseless Al-Quada speculation. They're now talking about caucasian-looking Chechen Islamic extremists. They really should curb their speculation at the point where it starts to become really far-fetched and bordering on the absurd.

Isn't Norway largely irreligious too. I mean I know at least two Norwegian special forces members who are atheists. (Great anecdotal provision of a source of statistical data there:D)

and that would have made things different today??????;)
    Get a grip mate
    I am an atheist too
I rather die as a warrior and end up in valhall(joke)

Here's hoping that no-more teens have died.

It's beyond imagination what those kids on that island endured. Imagine being so terrifed you try to swim for it?

They need to generate fear and bias and that's what sells unfortunately. Sky News don't do logic or rationale thought.

Sky news has had a hard on for Muslims since 9/11. Don't see why they would change now.

It broke my heart when the Mayor of Oslo said (to Sky News, maybe others too) that he wished he was on Utoya, that he'd ask the gunman to shoot him instead of those young people so they could live their lives :(

The biggest German tabloid 'BILD' jumps on the bandwagon about Islamic terrorists, because:
    1. 500 Norwegian troops in Afghanistan
    2. The involvement of Norwegian bombers in NATO airstrikes against Libya and Ghaddafi threatening the whole lot of Europe with revenge
    3. Cartoons of the prophet Mohammed in Norwegian Newspapers.

Well...all those speculations won't bring back the dead

R.I.P. to all who lost their lives
