Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

reveiw request thread

    Hi everyone.

I might be getting a DBoys M4 CQB and I'm looking all over the place seeing what people think about it and what experiences they had with their ones.

So far from reviews and videos, I think it would be a great airsoft rifle to own but some reviews and videos are well over like 1-2 years old and I heard DBoys were awful before and that they have changed now.

What I would like to know:

    - Is it easy to upgrade?
    - Can flash hider be removed?
    - Can Front sight be removed?
    - How do you remove the motor to change the pistol grip?
    - Quality of metal.
    - Quality of the gearbox.
    - ROF ( Rate Of Fire ).
    - What are the best magazines for feeding?
    - Also by any chance, can you install a fixed stock on it. I would like to do this since the wires are at the rear of the airsoft rifle.

Also, if someone bought one recently it would help if you can tell me what it's like for you. Apart from that, anyone can tell me what the DBoys M4 CQB is like ( Non-upgraded or Upgraded ).

    All comments are appreciated.

    Thank you.

I am thinking of getting the CA Sportsline M15A4 RIS Carbine with Crane Stock (AR004M-2-X). This is available from both GoTactical Bray & AirsoftEire.

    The AirsoftEire link is
    http://www.airsofteire.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=723&category_id=14&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=26 while

    CA's link is http://www.classicarmy.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=224&Itemid=319&lang=en

While I can find plenty of sites selling it around the world, there are almost no reviews of it anywhere.

I did manage to hold one and I liked what I saw but I have not plinked or field tested it.

Is this a good carbine to get?

the general feeling here is avoid the classic army sportlines like the plague. horrible guns that fail horribly. save up a bit more and buy a G&G raider

Is there a difference between the G&G Rush & the Short Raider?
Or would you recommend the Long Raider instead?

I have one on loan from HobbyAirsoft to review, hoping to get out with it this weekend (or next) to play with but initial impressions are good, seems to be a solid piece with good range & decent RoF.

Does anyone have any experience with G&P guns? I have looked around a bit and it seems the externals are great but the internals can be a bit troublesome?
The gun I'm looking at specifically is this: http://bit.ly/pPH0mE

G&P AEGs are awesome..I love them to bits and they're the only AEG I'd consider buying now..I find them extremely reliable and rock solid.

Have a read of the below...basically all G&P M4s are the same bodies and internals. Throw in a madbul tightbore barrel and a guarder clear and you're in business. My G&P M4 cqb has only a 247mm internal barrel yet out of every AEG at LAC it's outranging them all..fires at 326fps. Their fps is also very consistent and you'd only see a variation of 2-3 fps between shots...I remember Deburca was very impressed with this as most aeg's fluctuate more than this.

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055808937

If I was you though I'd go for this G&P aeg instead...
longer barrel and only €299 from the lads in Limerick it's a bloody steal at that price.

For the sentry just ask them to confirm price as €299 and they'll order it in..you'll have to pay for it before hand though..

this is their website as well...

I'm interested in the 'new' G&G P90 but am finding it hard to find any independent info from after the release.
I've checked all the obvious places like redwolf etc... so if anyone wants to point me in the right direction then I'd be happy to, otherwise, I request someone do a review here, if possible.

Are you sure it has been released? I've not heard anything about it being released, and no new updates for quite some time. I just checked the G&G website, and they've got nothing up on it either

EDIT: Nevermind...they don't even have the F2000/G2010 on their site

They did have it there, even before it was released, all 8 versions. They only have the manual for it listed now though:confused:.

Their site needs work in fairness, they don't have a good few of their Armalite variants that they sell listed either.

They're all the same internally AFAIK - the only difference is in the inner barrel length.

Horse84 just posted up a picture of his one in the Photo thread, might be worth sending him a PM to ask him any questions you want to know?

Alternatively there is a very in-depth thread on ArniesAirsoft.co.uk in the review section. You need to have an account there, but it's definitely worth the 1-2 minutes it takes to sign up :)
