Is it an R or S model? Does it have the Sport Up pack (not the BTCC kit pack as thats just bodykit and exhausts)? I had the S model with the sport up pack (sports rear shocks and 17's) and found it back breaking.

the one i bought was a repossesion from donegal....

its a 1.4 fitted with the sport up and btcc packs, so i have the sports shocks, cruise control and multi function steering wheel etc

but compared to me previous civic i dont find much of a difference to be honest

Was just curious! It's a 1.4 Costa to begin with so! Will ride better in that case. Like the spoiler and they did a proper job on the back box. There's loads going about withthe original one and it looks awful:)
Nice cars those Leons though, I'm half sorry I didnt keep mine.

on 3 door hothatch astra - yes. on 5 door family car - not so much.

Leave the Opel badge but get rid of the Astra and 1.8. Clashes with the newly painted chrome strip.

I think you should have left the Opel badge, I'd remove the dealer sticker and the "Astra" and "1.8" badges. Just my opinion though, whatever you think yourself.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,190 ✭✭✭Mister Jingles

I think taking the 1.8 badge off would be a no no too. To be honest the 1.8 isn't anywhere as common as the 1.4 and 1.6, so I think leaving it on would be better for showing off reasons.

I think it looks better de-badged. I'd get rid of the astra and 1.8 badge too.

    Looks well man.

now its been said it does look a tiny tiny bit like a tiida in those pics but it looks much better in real life. but im sure everyone says that. i still have the badge so and 3m stuff so its easy to reverse. im definitely leaving the astra and 1.8 though.

I love the older Hondas like Midnights and that Charade. I think they remind me of being a young fella all over again.:)

@Deutchlandfummer7 thats a very nice Astra. Amazing how a few simple cheap Mods make a car look so well...

I preferred the older model actually that finished in 92. Great cars my father (76)has the current model with the 1.6 engine with all the trimmings. He looks like a pure boy racer in it...:D

I would, but I don't really want to make it something it's not. I dont know what I want to do with the car really, just refurb the alloys or put on eibach pro-kit springs and new alloys
