well i may as well invest in a ps3 cause fighting games on pc are now done for.

They knew it was going to happen, thus the draconian measures to prevent it.

Regardless, to me it looks like they did their best to prevent lost sales- All those Super copies, all that DLC for those super copies...

i think its safe to say we should all by medium spec laptops, bring em to the park and have tournaments there, this way we can record every match too.

No, because its a decent idea. We can have more recorded matches if people bring in laptops to exchange, would also mean less console/stick hassel.

I think capcom should have gone with an early as possible digital download. Many have it pre-ordered on steam and other services, so why wait until the 8th of next month to release it?

people who bought the disc will moan about being excluded...i don't get the logic myself, in my head i'd be going 'ah just release it, they can steal it already why can't they buy it yet' they'd probably get crap from their major retailers like amazon for undercutting them and various other reasons like servers not prepared and so on...i reckon we might get it on the 5th but i highly doubt any earlier than that.

This didn't seem to be an issue for the console version that was released as a dlc.

I would assume the main reason for the delay was to get as many people as possible to buy the disks and DLC on console as possible.
If they released it on PC at the same time as the console I imagine there's many people who would pirate instead of buying the DLC. This way they get the maximum amount of people to buy it out of impatience and still keep all the legit PC users happy.

yea i saw that...already bought a 4 pack from them, it's now 25% more expensive to buy a 4 pack than 4 seperate games...coming up as 17.09 for me cause i own vanilla on steam, 43% off.

edit: already mailed them saying i wanted a refund to rebuy at the new price :P if this was capcoms store i wouldnt care but steam already rip the irish off enough with their $=€ and putting us in tier 1 prices when norway is in tier 2

edit mark 2: they made a mistake price is back to normal, some people managed to get it for 17 euro though, lucky sods :P well on the bright side no headache with steam not cancelling or w/e

Got my AE disc in the mail today. Box art is pretty. I'll bring it in to casuals tomorrow if they're on.

On another note,is any one else other than me getting mangled up by Gouken in AE. Man he has been buffed beyond belief.Also Makoto...WTF.

Idk about Gouken but Makoto is a yes! She's rediculous now.

Yeah Gouken deffo seems buffed up to beat the band.
Playing some guy the other night and he was doing mad links.His normal jabs seem to be sped up and can be linked
He also landed several demon flip setups on me which I've never seen before
