Interesting... This is an SII that has been made to look like ans SIII.. so I guess was extensively rebuilt as some point.

I in fact I guess it is a late SIIa with a 3 grill.

Would tidy up well I think as it looks straight enough.

Sorry to be an arse re Bodie and Doyle, but They never drove two Capris, if one had a Capri the other had an RS2000 or vice versa,

So go off now and find an RS 2000 to park beside !:P

At 3:40 in the vid above they both have Capris. Although they had a few other cars such as Rovers and plenty of other fast Fords they definitely had 2 Capris simultaneously for a good few programmes. I'd bet anything on it. ;)

Well I know they had different cars at times, but I also know they both had Capris. This video also shows 2 Capris at 3:40. All I meant is there was a silver and gold Capri in the professionals :D

They definitely had a silver and a gold one at the same time. I was about 10 when The Professionals was one of the biggest things on TV. I used to mow our lawn and that of two elderly neighbours all summer, with the pocket money I saved up I got two Capris in those exact colours(Matchbox iirc). The oul fella was so proud of me saving up a bit each week he got me Starsky and Hutchs Gran Torino. It was the summer of 1981.

Anyway, spotted this Bristol 401 in Wicklow today, driver knew where the accelerator was as well, fair play to him.

Sorry about the quality, camera phone.

It's not even a Defender, because they were called like this from 1990 :-) ... my bad.. That old gentleman said he will be in Castletownroche this sunday with the car, so you can ask him there or have a proper look at the car.. there is some vintage show or what.. (near Fermoy, co. Cork)

Is that the real thing? I'm guessing a reproduction, especially with the non-genuine wheels and sunroof and the lack of correct badging.
