    I don't understand the media's obsession with Rory? Sure, he is a great talent and will win a mjor soon if not this weekend, but comments like "Golf needs Rory to win" etc. are just plain ridiculous and show a lack of knowledge of the game tbh.

    Im NOT getting into this whole Irish/British debate here(Hope Rory wins), but check out sky.Press the i(info) button on your sky remote for SS2 and look at the description given-"Another strong round from Rory McIlroy saw the BRIT stretch his lead to six shots at the end of day two".:D.They love snatching any successful sportsman from other countries.Lennox Lewis in the boxing was Canadian, Greg Rusedski(tennis)-also Canadian.Both claimed as British.Anyway, good look Rory-always played under Ireland to the best of my knowledge.

    Nice solid stuff from Rory. There's been a few low rounds out there so if Rory keeps it together he could really stretch the lead. Could make tomorrow a non event.
