Niall Mellon must be baffled. All those houses he and Paddy built for the poor black people, and this is how they behave.
This is what I was referring too - couldn't quote on my phone. "All those houses he and Paddy built for the poor black people, and this is how they behave" - like, seriously? Firstly, you're just assuming that people who had houses built for them by Niall Mellon were involved, or else you consider them to have been involved merely because they're from the same place/share the same skin colour. The behaviour was appalling, but shouldn't your ire be directed at those who actually did it rather than bringing a house-building charity into it? Bullsh1t that your views aren't racially based. I'm not saying you're a KKK member or anything, not even saying you'd be unpleasant to a black person, but you do use the behaviour of certain people to apply to an entire continent/race. Don't say you don't - look at the Congo rape thread. Yes it is something done in an African country by African people and is a societal problem, but you base it on them being African/black, despite the millions of black Africans who AREN'T like that and who suffer because of it...

    Hmm, implicated whom?
People who had houses built by Niall Mellon.
Is the word black a racist word or something?
Um... I never accused anything of the sort, but clutch at straws if you will...
What's ignorant about apportioning blame based on behaviour rather than skin colour?
Nothing whatsoever - that's exactly my point. Blame should of course be apportioned on the basis of behaviour, no matter what skin colour. I'm not denying there is some ****ed up **** going on in some regions of Africa, but it's wrong for people to just sneer "What do you expect from Africans?" as if their heritage is the reason for it, when there is a massive plethora of reasons for it - it's not just in their African DNA - and so many of them don't want to be involved in that messed up stuff.

I know you read my posts, but do you read them thoroughly, because if you did you would see nothing certain about my hunch. I used the word guessing.
Seemed to be stating it pretty unequivocally - nothing there about "guessing".
I think it's fairly ok to maybe guess that black people were involved?
    Never said it wasn't...
But, seeing as you are such a certain kinda' person
    Go on...?
it could possibly have been white people who just happened to be passing through? Happy?
Er.. no, because my argument was never that it could have been white people - my point was that you and others will use an incident like this to condemn all black Africans, simply because it was done by one group of black Africans. It's like condemning all Europeans for crazy sh1t done by a group of Russians, but no doubt you wouldn't think that way.
    That diplomatic enough, PC enough?
I don't give a fuk about being PC, just not being ignorant and prejudiced and stupid.

I know if I gave all my time for "free" to help to lift up the poor people, and then heard that this was what some were capable of, I guess I'd be a wee bit annoyed.
I wouldn't, because I wouldn't just leap to the conclusion that the same families who were housed by the Mellon project were involved in this.

Better than being an islamophobe who belittles muslims on public transport, and hanging around an Irish website despite being anti Irish. ;)

Eh? Thats like saying lets stop all aid to everywhere as you can be sure there are bad apples amongst them. What happens amongst a few people is not representative of all people, but I am guessing you already know that.

Same can be said for monkeys too. Not all monkeys are witches, not all witches are monkeys.....

Crazy what these people believe...I mean witch craft??????

Not like good god fearing people who know this meaningless killing of an innocent monkey will look bad when you get to the pearly gates and end ya up with a stint down below with the rest of the fallen angles.

Dudess, what about this Congo rape thread?

I don't belive I posted much on that, did I?

Anyway, facts are that the incident occurred in a township in SA and
because I said that Black people were involved, and POSSIBLY
black people who Paddy has helped, this gets me labeled racist?

Bit lame that. Black, white or any other colour, we are all capable of wicked acts.

Had this occurred in Finglas I would say the same. It didn't. It occurred in SA, hence my input. Apologies that me assuming, or guessing that black people were involved has somehow got you hot under the collar. My bad!

You agreed with the "It's Africa - what else would you expect from that continent" sentiment though. Yep, all one billion of 'em - and the little kids and women who are raped and men who aren't violent too. Using incidents like this to condemn all black people is what's racist.
Apologies that me assuming, or guessing that black people were involved has somehow got you hot under the collar.
But it... didn't. As I explained.
What's the point in saying/apologising for stuff that isn't true? I know it was black people who did it:
Er.. no, because my argument was never that it could have been white people - my point was that you and others will use an incident like this to condemn all black Africans, simply because it was done by one group of black Africans. Are you... pretending not to understand? You are aren't you?

In Hartlepool they hung a monkey because they though the monkey was a French spy.

The fishermen apparently questioned the monkey [dressed to amuse in a military style uniform] and held a beach-based trial. Unfamiliar with what a Frenchman looked like they came to the conclusion that this monkey was a French spy

Speaking of education, I gather South Africa, downhill and all as it has gone in the last couple of decades

Depends on your perspective does it not? Yours is obviously not that of black S.A.'n.
