BMWdriver meet this weekend in Blarney, this popped up.

1973 BMW 2002tii, only 1 previous owner. The original owner had it as a company car and was given the car, when he retired. He then got it completely restored and unfortunatly had a stroke before he ever got to drive the car after restoration again.

It is mint, like it rolled out of the factory yesterday. Great for a wee 38 year old car.

Obviously a few other classics there, too

Saw these in Berlin a couple of weeks ago.

Satandard Vanguard, late 40's-early 50's model.

    GermanyBerlinMay2011001.jpg

Merc L319 still used daily by a drinks company. The grandaddy of the Sprinter its bullet proof reputation cemented Mercedes place in the 3.5t van market.

    GermanyBerlinMay2011002.jpg

    Volvo P1800ES

    GermanyMay2011374.jpg
    GermanyMay2011375.jpg

And something very rare, a Crayford bodied W116 estate. They only built 80, and just 15 of them were based like this on the 450SEL platform. No idea how many survive. Nicely done, and an elegant solution to the lack of an estate in the Merc line up. I'm not so sure what ye think of it on the photos but in real life it looks very good, I liked it a lot.

    GermanyMay2011376.jpg
    GermanyMay2011377.jpg
    GermanyMay2011378.jpg

Btw the rear roof is taken from a
    Mk II Ford Granada
    .

Berlin still has loads of 80's and a good few 70's cars as daily drivers in all sorts of condition. What we consider to be rare and classic is barely noticed over there. This despit the fact that the second hand car market has boomed there for two decades after the fall of the iron Curtain.

Hi MCMLXXV, Most of the photos were taken early enough but saying that its was a poor turn out of cars. I think it clashed with other events on the 29th. I think every car is in the slide show, not many but a high standard and some very interesting vehicles etc.

Yeah, I'm only down the road and would have gone myself but it clashed with another event. This could be a nice show if they made the effort to advertise it a little better. Did they charge exhibitors?

Well done the granada rear door was in the back of my mind you saved me a lot of googling there.

Also see how much different in length the Back bumpers are to a standard 450 SE .Crawford were obviously governed by the length of the side glass.

Amazing the way the side glass matches the angles of the Merc, but than again Ford probably copied the S-Class lines when doing their later granada

Have to agree with MCMLXXV they could have advertised this one better - link to a flyer or website. Looks like it has the potential to be a good show doesn't it OKI Dokie? :D Thanks for the epic Youtube as well, is the director's cut comming soon?

College Green today. Nice patina on it, looks like a daily driver. If there were no tourists and no other cars there it would have made a classy photo. :)

Tis indeed, on lush Cosmics. That one and my estate used to be owned by the same guy in England at one time.
