    My post was just highlighting how cruel some of the comments were.

    Just because you think he is a good singer does not mean he actually is.

    And everyone doesn't have to like him just because you do.

    I don't know about the other tunes, but in my personal opinion "you raise me up" is the worst song that was ever written and recorded ever....and i mean ever....Emotional pornography for simpletons in my opinion...in fact it is so bad that my sister keeps promising that when i die, she is going to tell everyone that weslifes version should be played at my funeral, because "it's what he would have wanted".. just to piss me off....

    Liking a song or artist is just based on a personal, individual taste.


    Making personal insulting remarks is not necessary to show your dislike of anyone or what they do.

    Some of the comments on this LLS thread are becoming just a people bashing exercise.

    Can't the standards of comments be improved a bit? Leave personal insults out of the comments for all posts.

    Anyone who goes on to the LLS or any other show in the public domain is leaving themselves open to criticism - whether it is in relation to their singing or their looks, etc. (or if they are plain boring)

    We can't all be "starry eyed" about celebrities and put them up on a pedastal and say they look and sound great (even if they don't).

    Basically you are telling us to "put up and shut up" and accept sub standard entertainment.

    If I think someone is boring I am going to say it.

    If I think someone looks fat (yes Brian looked fat IMO) I am going to say it.

    Conversely if I find someone inspirational/good/entertaining/nice/pretty I will say it also. Unfortunately this is rare with the standard of guest on The DLB Show :(

    Maybe you could complain to RTE to have better guests and a better host so that my/our comments don't offend your little starry eyed sensitive self?

    B.K is my favourite singer so I am hardly going to agree with people when they make personal insults about him when he is on t.v. If I am to be truly honest. It is kind of hard to take when you are a fan.

    Oh, by the way I was speaking to you amdublin. My example is that my user name was mocked by you and also by diddler1977. I think I'll get over that one though.

    Just something to point out that might be helpful to you on boards starry eye.

    please could you not go back in and edit such a high volume of your posts so much. Posts 683, 685 & 686 are examples. I am so confused now!! Have no idea of your original points and what I am reading/replying to etc!
