An App called 'Family Guy' by Ultima-Weapon

I got the Free Version (Paid one is 6.93), The Free version has the first episode from all 8 seasons on it, the paid one has every Family Guy episode ever.

How they're getting around the copyright on this i don't know

tv show streams have every episode of family guy and loads of other shows on it. Think its only about 3 quid.

Can anyone recommend a good app for jogging with? I'm training for the Great Ireland 10k and was going to follow the program on B210K (http://www.appbrain.com/app/b210k-pro/com.guyhoffman.b210k.pro) but the music player on my Samsung Galaxy isn't compatible with it and none of the 3rd party music players will work with it either.

I'm looking for something where I can enter a target training schedule e.g. run for 2.5k, walk for 1 min, jog for 5k, walk for 2 mins etc, listen to my chosen music and have the music interrupted at the various training points to inform me to "walk for 1 minute" etc etc.

    Any ideas?

    Ben

Not sure if its exactly what you are looking for but currently free

Thanks Dazz, iMapMyRun is a great app for tracking your runs via GPS but it doesn't have the functionality I'm looking for i.e. plan a run and listen to music with the app letting you know when you've reached certain milestone times or distances.

    Thanks for the suggestion though.

    Ben

Thomas, Phone Useage is a fantastic app and will save you from those dreaded out of contract charges. See https://market.android.com/details?id=com.jupiterapps.phoneusage

Found a great little game a few months back called "Beads" http://www.253below.com/beads

Very addictive but very enjoyable and easy to use and they are supposed to launch a second version in the next few weeks.

HIIT will allow some of that functionality, it's designed to time alternating intervals of sprint and jog. e.g. 20 second sprint, 10 second jog, alternating for as many rounds as you like.

You set the time periods for each setting and the number of rounds, a whistle sounds over your music every time you complete an interval

Fellow android users, I am contemplating downloading a 'battery booster' app. Are they any good? Do they work? Any tips on which one I should get?

    Thanks.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,510 ✭✭✭ongarite

    Not really IMO.
What phone and version of Android are you using?
How long is your battery lasting?
Do you have many apps syncing data at regular intervals?
    Do you use many widgets?
What screen brightness are you using?

    Oh well that's alright.

There is nothing wrong with my battery life, just I seen a few of these apps and needed some info on it.

    I have a Sony X8, Android 2.1.

Usually around 2-3 days depending on how I use it.

I have data syncing turned off. I only use Wi-Fi.

My screen is at around 20% brightness.

I probably won't even bother getting the app, just I was asking if they actually helped battery life.

    Thanks for the reply. ;)

2-3 days is great for a smartphone, I'd leave well enough alone
