Will give that a go, I actually have it installed on my laptop, it's great for transferring your iTunes library to your phone!

Couldn't get flash to work with Opera. Not sure it's supported.
While Opera is great for general browsing (it's very quick and low on resources), I need Dolphin for the flash abilities. I'm not sure if the stock browser has flash abilities - I'm pretty sure it does. maybe I'm just used to Dolphin.

Ah right, I use stock for all my browsing.

Rarely use it at all now that I think about it. Mainly just to read articles linked from RSS feeds/Twitter.

Flash works fine on it though.

It worked for me on the regular browser on my HTC Desire. Sounds was a half second behind the video but watchable.

if you use skyfire and go to bbciplayer click on the video you want to watch. When that page loads up just click the green arrow on the video. After a second or two it will say not available in your area. Then the skyfire video player should pop up from bottom left of screen. Use than and its grand.

    Works perfect on desire hd.

Have you tried changing the User Agent of your browser?

Dolphin Browser has a User Agent setting that allows you choose Android, Desktop, iPhone, iPad or a custom UA.

Got this to work thanks, Just one problem with the box for agreeing you are over 16 if the video has adult content. I can't click on it.

Sorry if I am taking this thread off topic but getting Iplayer working would be a benefit to a few people I think

BBCi player works for me through Skyfire- quick question cannot seem to fast forward, rewind/pause with BBC iplayer am I missing something?
Also if watching something more adult could not press the over 16 option which was a bit annoying.

Thanks for this. Changed it to android in skyfire and it got me much further. After a few tries i've managed to get to the video buffering screen.

I've now got to the stage where i have the programme(top gear) ready to play with the option to play in full screen but when i press either that or the general play button, nothing happens.

Any ideas? I'm much further now than i was yesterday:pac:

That over 16 option thing is annoying me aswell. Dunno how to get passed it :(

Im after registering on bbciplayer page which asks for me DOB so I presume if i log in then i wont have to click the thing to confirm me age. only problem is now is it wont log in haha.

Woo got logged in and started some show that I imagine should be 16+ and didn't get a pop-up at all.

I heard about an app that you can use if you lose your android phone, and then txt it to get a reply in the form of a google maps link.
Can anyone recommend me one of these? Preferably one that can turn on the GPS coz I dont want to have that on all the time.

    cheers.

iMapMyRide and iMapMyRun are now on the market. They are still in beta and free for a limited time. I tested iMapMyRide today on Samsung Galaxy S. Works perfectly. View your route and stats in google earth when you are finished.
iMapMyRIDE+ tracks the route, distance, pace, and more in real-time using GPS.
    NEW: iMapMyRIDE+ for Android
iMapMyRIDE brings you its mobile app for Android-based devices! Now owners of Android 2.1 or higher devices can track the route, time, distance, speed, pace and calories in real-time for their fitness activities using their GPS enabled mobile device.
It's free for a limited time!
