Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    you're in Keltoms. I'll probably be a few minutes late myself (have Yoga until 8pm) but just ask for the SAP group. We're normally in the first cage.

    1. If you're heading from town go straight through the roundabout by The Huntsman (keep Wellpark on your right).
    2. At the nest traffic lights up the road (just past Mervue Business Park) turn RIGHT
    3. It's about 800 meters down the road on the RIGHT.
    4. opposite the church. It's behind the apartments.

    I'm trying to get a couple of extra bodies for a Monday night game, 7-8 in Drom. Would any of your boys be interested, I can see if any of our mob would play on the Tuesday. I know one chap who can't make Salthill who might be interested in your game either way if you're anyway close on numbers..

    Hi all,
    FOOTBALL IS CANCELLED. FOREVER! (Well our timeslot in Mervue is gone anyway, they've given it to another crowd that doesn't have committment issues. )
    The only other option I can think of is Moinegisha (no idea how to spell it correctly) sports hall (opposite The Eye cinema), the only slot they have is Monday from 9.00-10.00p.m. If you’re interested in playing this time reply.

    Anybody know of a bunch of lads in Galway who play 5/6 aside football who would be interested in another player? I've recently moved to the city and am looking to play a night or 2 a week. Nothing serious, just a bit of craic.

    OP, I can't find the thread I'm thinking of but try contacting the posters here, here, here or here and you might have some luck.

    I play on Monday, Wednesday and Friday but we've got plenty of players at the moment.

    I had planned to edit the post and be helpful, but I must have been distracted by something shiny.

    What about a dedicated 5-a-sides thread that new ones can be merged to in future? Thought of it a while back but didn't bother mentioning it.

    Something along the lines of "Want to play or need a player for 5-a-side - Post here".

    A bit long... Just an idea anyway.

    There was a thread a couple of years ago that grew to a few pages but I couldn't find it the other day when I went looking.

    we play mostly on fridays at 4 or 5pm depending on how many we get. when the weather improves we will start playing outdoors again usually on a sunday
