Student ID (with no DOB) is all you need.

You only get a letter first semester if you have co-op/placement 2nd semester.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,699 ✭✭✭mud

I failed one last year as well, it's a balls but in actual fact I found the repeat to be easier than the first exam.

Chin up missus, you'll fly the repeats.

Ya its not uncommon for the repeats to be slightly easier than the original.

Pretty sure Lecturer's must create and submit them at the same time.

What happens if you fail a module, but you only do assignments for it and not an actual exam, what happens there?

Best bet is to get in touch with the module co-ordinator. For example, sports science is all assignments and if you fail you have to do a project over the summer. This probably doesn't apply to all assignment based modules though.

Thanks, god i really hope it doesn't come to that. I have academic writing and geography but the thoughts of possibly doing academic writing again are sickening.

The wonderful SAA have denied me an I grade. They expected me to do the exam when I was basically blind I'm guessing?

For fusake what's with all the spelling mistakes in the latest email from the SU sent by Finn McDuffie?

Surely it's not that hard to check back over what you've written before sending correspondence to the ENTIRE student body?

    Shoddy.

Mud, there is ONE mistake that I can see of, and its only a grammer one at that:
"Does you class need a rep?"

Are you not being a bit over dramatic?!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,699 ✭✭✭mud

There are two mistakes, two too many.

Not being dramatic, just think it's bad form. I'm entitled to my opinion.

I have to say I agree with SimplySilly....but what was the 2nd mistake out of interest?

    Out of interest.
Why don't you read the mail yourself?

I did, I only saw the mistake that SimplySilly did.

I had my first lectures with Luke Ashworth last week. He taught a good few of my friends who hold him in high regard. Sad to hear he's leaving at the end of the semester, hope it works out for him. He's very good but when i went up to ask him a question i was surprised at how easygoing and friendly he is, fair play.

Most lecturers are, it's one of the best things about UL.

I have friends in college in Dublin and their lecturers dont give a f*ck.

All my lectures besides one(Who is also leaving this semester...Or maybe its the same guy?) have the most monotone voice known to man this semester.

Cant you put a bit of excitement into Macroeconomics...Like a pun or two."IMF LMAO!"...

There's little excitement to had with Macroeconomics...I'm sorry! I managed a B in it though, so it's not too tough.
