    Coming down in Drogheda again. This time heavier than the last one that only lasted a minute. Not too heavy though. Hoping this lasts for a good while, or gets really heavy for a short while.

    Hey folks can any one please tell me how much more snow will be heading towards Kilkenny tonight/tomorrow? About 5 inches has fallen since 8pm.. Crazy snow and its only just stopped.

    I'm hearing crazy depths coming from back home and in Drogheda. Is it true there's a foot of snow around the place?! Is it worse out towards Collon and Monasterboice or more towards Bettystown?

    i heard that!

    I also heard some story about a hearse (I think of an old man who died in the cold, or slipped or something) trying to get up a hill, and couldn't, so the driver got out to push and he slipped and hit his head so they had to call an ambulance. Then the ambulance couldn't get up the hill either. So they called the fire brigade. Crazy Drogheda!

    just looked out and its snowing here away,bit of wind with it.
    its -2 here at the moment,if this snow continues til morning then there will be a standstill here tomorrow for sure.

    I was in Bath in January and the snow that fell over 24 hours there one day was phenomenal, the most I had ever seen...there's more snow in Dundrum around the Luas station than then....more than ankle-deep:eek:

    Great walk home tonight through the city. Calm through the city and quiet, then massive thunder on Middle Abbey St, driving snow, then a calm quiet walk from the Luas home with the odd snowflake on the edge of the thundersnow cloud heading towards Tallaght.
