    Me too.....although the standard of music on Beatport over the past year really has left us new kids lickin our wounds, and comin to the realisation that it's only a matter of time before a new cocky group of young lads will be calling us Old Skool.

    lads I'm going out record shopping (tis a tough life!). I would love to see a facebook group or cause or whatever (my knowledge of facebook is acutely embarassing) when I get back!!

    Lads, don't know if you already listen to it, but Barry Redsettaz does a show on Spin103.8 (i know it's a bit odd that one of the most clued in radio shows is on such a station) on a Friday night.

    Anywho, just talkin to him there and it seems one of my new tracks is gettin a play on it. So if you hear some weird slightly familiar sounding music on your wireless tonight, y'all know who dunnit!

    gregg, unfortunately it doesn't but as one or two people here can testify to, I come from a pop background and am well capable of knockin out a sing along cheesy anthemic chorus or two. a bloody liability if ya ask me.

    haha, I'm really trying to get that official title of 'most-amateur-when-it-comes to-the-business-side-of-music prodcuer'.

    I haven't even attempted to sign it to anyone yet. Think I'll have to write a book ....... "how-not-to-market-your-music : everything you need to know about how to criminally ignore the business side of your craft".
