Its really not a great game. You are unable to defend a title in Exhibition or in Universe . The move sets are really bad. Lots of moves have been taken out . Its full of glitches .

funny thing is Glitches make the game fun .

That happens every year. For every cool feature or little nod they put in, they take something out or have weird limitations with the create modes. I'm still on the fence but right now I doubt I will get this game.

TBH I think the people who are on here counting down the days till its release will still love it.

I think its only us who haven't been liking the series for a while and were hoping for drastic changes that will be disappointed.

Got the game this morning, been playing for a while. Tried out bits of everything. Here's my early opinions on it so far:

Universe Mode: Only done the first weeks Raw so far on this, setting up my own matches, and i really really like the cut scenes presentations on it. The main event I had Edge (me) Vs. John Cena. I was beating down on Cena, hit him with the Spear, was sure to get the 3 count, when all of a sudden, Y2J comes to the ring and keeps distractin the Ref when i go for the pin, which ultimately leads to Cena winning. I aslo got a cut scene at the end showing Edge going back in and beatin up Cena. I can see Universe mode lasting a very very long time, as it adds a lot of excitment to matches you create.

Oh yeah, a note on defending titles in Exhibition mode, It can be done but you have to trick the system. Initially, you can only defend Unlocked belts in Exhibition mode. But if u wanna defend WWE Title/WHC/ US/ IC titles, just set one of the unlocked belts (ie. hardcore, ECW) onto the person you want to defend title, then you can select any title to defend in the superstar selection bit.

Road to Wrestlemania: So far, I'm just finsihed up to Royal Rumble in Christians story. I like the free roam thing, but must admit it can get a little annoying at times. But its cool walking around backstage, talking to other superstars etc. The highlight so far, was meeting up woth Hurricane back stage

I've just had a quick peek at Create a Superstar and it's as you'd expect really, but looks cool.

Overall so far, it is a really enjoyable game, takes some getting used to the new controls and all but it is cool.

Does any1 know what the Challenges in the Road to Wrestlemania storys do? Are they to unlock stuff or just for fun?

This wwe universe mode is brilliant!

First match i played, Edge v Sheamus, i was sheamus. #1 contender match.
Edge out first, Sheamus music plays, he isnt coming to the ring, run in with a sneaky attack and hit the finisher on edge straight away, pinned him and won the match.

Vince music hits and he comes out saying my evening isnt over, Did i forget about my other opponent....

I just done the first rey one at the royal rumble. The

eliminate evan bourne

one and got his civilian outfit so yeah i think they do.

I don't care for the in-ring pacing slowing down compared to SvR2010 at the minute but it took a little while for me to get used the changes that time around anyway.

Don't see the point of the (Xbox) control changes though. What was wrong with using B for dragging and picking up opponents (which are now LT and up on R3) and pin being down on the right stick (which is now B...).

Appreciate that They managed to slot in Dashing Cody Rhodes' theme and thankfully didn't have time to update R-Truth's.

When I did that Edge vs Sheamus #1 contender match Jericho did his run in and myself as Edge hit the Edgecution on Y2J on the outside during which Sheamus was taunting. Slipped back into the ring and hit the spear when Sheamus turned around from his taunt and into it. It was beautiful.

By the way i found a way to cheat the system in doing the whole "win a title in wwe universe using your created wrestler" achievement/throphy.

Go to the superstar edit page, where you can determine face/heel, raw/smackdown etc and basically just give them the title. simulate up until the next ppv and just win the match.

It will say you have retained the belt but the computer will regestar it as you winning the belt.

I got the game yesterday, must say although I haven't played much I'm really enjoying it, I love Universe mode, only flaw on that, that's driving me mad is the Ranking system shows Jericho/Miz as the tag champions even tho McIntire and Rhodes are champs, they comes to the ring with the belts and have even defended them twice but Jericho/Miz are still listed as champs.

I haven't even touched RTWM yet or CAW. Will need to take it online to get my ass whipped of course!! :P

This game just keeps getting better. I was just playing WWE Universe, I was Big Show in a match with Kane and I hit him with a move then the lights went out and Undertakers bell rang, When the lights came back on we were both down. Great Game A++.

I've been playing it since Friday and I have to say.....What an awesome game!!!

I was pretty skeptical of the whole "WWE Universe" mode but after a few matches, I've really grown to love it. The cut scenes definetly add to the realism element. So far, I've given Bourne a push by giving him a month's reign as US Champ and he's 6th in line for a shot at the WWE title. Zack Ryder is now the new no1 contender for the US Title while Miz is no1 contender for the WWE Title and my CAW just won the IC Title from Ziggler.

The Road to WrestleMania modes this year are pretty cool. Finished the "CAW/Taker" story, just brilliant. I'm now half way through Rey's one, interested to see where it plans out. The whole "locker room before the match" is pretty good if a bit tedious imo.

If you haven't got this yet, definetly pick up a copy or, at the very least, give it a rent.

Has anyone lost to Undertaker at mania yet in the rtwm?

If you have completed it, go back and purposefully lose the match (hit him with a chair or get counted out).

Wont say what happens but its not just a simple "You lost, wanna retry?" screen.
