Waterford never beating Cork in Cork in 60yrs is gonna tell some tales though :/

Mayo just lost to Longford. Longford, like. The only teams they bet in the league was London and Kilkenny. Bad times for them.

This doesn't look to good for Sligo tomorrow...

LOL mayo, your rubbish. Enjoy your all ireland free summer.

You seem to imply that every county are enemies of Dublin...

No, Cork make it their business to be enemies with Dublin. With the whole we are the original capital shíte. Meath are Dublin's biggest enemies with Kerry second and then cork third.

Poor old USA. They put up one hell of a fight in the second half but they just didn't have the pace for extra time :(

Come On Westmeath! Should be an interesting game. People are saying that our team is stronger than when we won Leinster all those 6 long years ago with a load of players coming back and the U21's pushing for places in the team. It's stupid though having the game at 5.50 this evening, far too late. I couldn't go becaue of this.:(

Hehe I wouldn't begrudge you the victory. I was at the Leinster final that time - I'd just be more inclined to go for Louth. :D

Meath v. Westmeath leinster final would be cool tbh :) (is it possible?) But I have an unhealthy dislike for meath (:o) so I kinda hope it doesn't happen.

Edit: ah siht, galway got a goal.

That's not going to happen because Dublin's going to win  (hopefully)

The match between England and Germany's great atm, didn't expect it to be this good.

For years and years the technology has been available to ensure that goal-line decisions could be made easily. You know, to ensure that gaols could be given when the ball crosses the line.

Sepp Blatter has repeatedly refused to make use of it. The man has been a consistent screw-up as president of FIFA.

Presumably there was another incident? I'm not watching TV so I don't know...

England goal wasn't given despite being at least a metre over the line.

I wouldn't be. If during my years playing sport I'd ever won a game/race because of an official's cock up I wouldn't have been happy at all.

Not so much because of that mistake but because I couldn't stand it if the English won the WC. They still go on about their '66 victory, imagine what another victory would do.

Well it's a 2 goal cushion now, so there can be no complaints.

As someone who prefers individual sports I'll tell you what I think. The majority of supporters of every team in the world are ****ing idiots. Soccer and GAA fans are the worst. The tribalism is truly pathetic.
