    Play suspended in the tennis!

Serbia get a goal back! Dramatic evening all round!

That blunder from Schwarzer just cost me 6 points in FF

Should I swap in Sorensen or just take my five points from Schwarzer....... *thinking*

That tennis match was awesome. I sat down to watch it at 6.15 when it was 33-32, expecting to get to watch all the Germany match. The word is used too much and so loses its effect when truly warranted, but it was epic!

Up to second in the FF - that extra transfer for M.Pereira paid dividends!

    Isner has won eventually, 70 - 68!

    Paraguay and NZ 0-0

Italy - Slovakia 3-2, exciting game! Italy bottom of the group now and out

Can't believe Italy are out of the World Cup.

Tennis match is over.:( I'm glad Isner won but I still wanted Mahut to win after 11 hours. It seems unfair that only 1 could win after all that time.

Both 2006 world cup finalists out in the group stages...:pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,849 ✭✭✭bluejay14

This has been a weird world cup. All we need is for Spain and Portugal to be out next.....

    Ahh! I missed it!:(
Wanted Mahut to win anyways...He was more energetic and I think he was better tbh!

And New Zealand going through the group stage unbeaten, finishing ahead of the former world champions Italy

How could you miss it?! After watching it for 4 hours yesterday I was not going to miss it. The Italy game went out the window the minute it was on.

Isner just looked tireder but he always seemed to be that kinda way, as if he'd fall down, but I think he had more mental strength than Mahut, Mahut had a couple of double faults in the last games before play was suspended - I wanted Isner to win though!

I thought that Slovakia went through with Paraguay topping the group?

Well at least they'll both go down in history! I don't think any of the records that they broke will ever be broken again tbh!

Yeah sorry for confusing you. NZ went through the group stage unbeaten, three draws, and finished third, Italy finished bottom
