    Ordered some more bits off CRC today.

    - Montane Featherlite Jacket
    - Topeak Road Morph Mini Pump
    - Random BB tool

    Does anyone get same day dispatch off CRC anymore? I haven't had it in ages, even when I order in the morning.

    They are much much slower these days.

    BTW if anyone else wants a Montane Featherlight, I am selling one. See my sig.

    no should have done but wont use the cadence and have piles of hrm lying around that i dont use (may go for that if i get more serious) just need to see how long it takes now when i've used evans in the past they havent been that quick
    if you want the bundle it may be worth trying to pricematch off pixmania (£165) (at least with evans you may get some service)

    Been looking into something lightweight like the R-sys but as I do most cycling on the flat I decided to go for these:

    2429_0.jpg

    Ordered from jedi-sports as they seemed the most competetive since cyclesuperstore raised there price. Hopefully have them for next weekend (ordered a few minutes ago)!

    Now that should be it for expensive items for a while (I hope!)

    well this wasn't a case of 'i should have left the credit card at home' because i've wanted to do this for a while now and the credit card facilitated it - i'll probably be paying for this for a good 12 months:

    1_groot_orion_black_1005a_catalogue.gif.v=1

    and it was worth it, avg speed on the flat has gone from 25 kms ph (giant rapid one) to 38 kms ph

    That's easy. How much would it cost to replace one of the road bikes if it was stolen? Exactly. It's much cheaper to have a fixie for those short trips into town.

    Buying a fixie is like having insurance. It's a prudent and sensible course of action.

    Thanks but somehow I feel that it's not going to work.. I actually feel that I have to come clean on it.. "Honey, I don't really need a third bike, i just WANT one". Then before she has any time to react, I ll hug her and "Oh I love you too, I knew you would understand".

    I am a dead man, right?
