Lads, argos are doing half price tents atm, the regatta pop up ones are only about €22.
The only reason im posting it here is that i know theres the ops weekender coming up soon and you can camp over so for yous that dont have a tent now is the time to get them if you plan on camping over :)

Can someone get a before and after pic please?

Before event: all 9.99 tents pitched
After event (and inevitable Irish weather): all 9.99 tents entangled in trees.

    Hence the reason I stated:

When it come to tents, you will totally regret buying a cheapo one. it'll probably tear quite easily and can gather condensation inside, which drips on ya when you are kipping, aswell as not being properly water proof, just "resistant". Do it once and i promise ya, you'll never skimp on this kinda equipment again. :)

Haven't gone camping in about 18 years, even then we bivouacked using ponchos and string. Got f*ck all sleep too. Wonder if there is a camping forum here.

There is nothing better than waking up in a all natural shelter you built yourself, i sleep better in those than in tents :)

So true, I remember dying at tha gathering i went too, cause i slept in a dunnes stores special. It didnt rain but got chilly at night and the condensation got inside, and soaked me, gave me a bad dose of the sniffles.

Lild/aldi do the best tent -> price ratio.

We invested in one of the big ones for oxygen for a few years, cinluding the rainy ones, and were bone dry, warm and it was a quality purchase.

If they did smaller ones I'd be all over it, but they onyl do the big ass ones.

Not sure if im even camping a tthe ops weekend considering i live ten minutes away, but if i am sure ill be brining..the **** dunnes stoes tent

The general rule with tents is that if you're not buying it from a tent shop, you're doing it wrong.

Until you've woken up under a basha that's now touching your nose because of the water accumulating courtesy of torrential rain at the start of November on an MoD training ground (i.e. as miserable as possible), you haven't appreciated creature comforts ;)

Thank f*ck for bivvy bags and common sense for basha set-up ...

All YB engines were 2 liter so any stock Sapphire Cosworth is 2ltr.:D
(as far as I own from listening to corworth fanboys rambling)
