Athiests obsession with irrelevance is infinitely more absurd than religious fundamentalism.

If this forum is anything to go by, someone who has religion on their mind more often than the faithful. Embarassing really.

I understand your point and at times I'd agree with you. I think the main issue for most of the people on this forum it that they (myself included) don't want to live in a world dictated by religion and superstition (which most of us believe is utter nonsense).

(By the way, you spelled 'atheist' wrong, that's what the other poster was talking about. I do it all the time too!)

I don't see why we shouldn't be interested in religion just as others are interested in history or ornithology. Religion is a fascinating window into human irrationality.

Also, many of us had tortuous and drawn out escapes from the clutches of various churches/organisations/cults, and it's nice to communicate with other like-minded skeptical people who often have had similar experiences, and know what you've been through.

I don't see what's absurd about that tbh.

Oh I like this game: Toast always falling butter down is infinitely more absurd than religious fundamentalism. I mean, what is the deal with that!?

I guess animal activists are people who think more about animal testing than animal testers do. Police are people who think about crime more than criminals do. Maybe celibates even think about sex more than sexually active people do...

... all in all this would be a comical way to define the world. I might try it for a day to see how it goes.

I guess if this forum is anything to go by, theists are people who have atheists on their mind more than atheists do.

This is putting a smile on my face. I think ill do it for a week not a day...

Gay people: People who think of straight sex more than straight people do...

Anyone got one for "Politicians"? :)

I'm not an atheist, however, if you had a group/s which you viewed as a corrosive influence attempting to coerce/manipulate society into warping it's institutions to suit it's own self-interest, you'd be kind of annoyed too. Especially when their reasons for doing so are based on belief in something which has no evidence to stand on, and seems more in tune with bronze-age barbarism.

    Just a thought.

Ah now don't be like that father, we all believe in god secretly, we just hate him for killing Jesus for us, we are very righteous like that.

BTW, why do you have atheism on your mind so much? Do you NOT believe in god almighty master of the universe, petty tyrant of the old testament?

On topic I'm delira and excira that it is the first official draw 'Mo' day, I will do a fresh piece now.

    114511.PNG

Mohammad received many e-mails from facebook informing him that he has been tagged in many many images, Mohammad is currently visiting pakistan, and as such cant access facebook. He is now unable to chastise the users of facebook who don't believe in him and make sure they follow his rules regardless, Pakistan didn't think this through.

I think Two-Facebook has pulled the page.

Too late now, though. The virus has spread.

People have too much time on their hands,
These are the same people that were too coward to take part in any anti-war protest, too careless to vote. Most of the people joining this campaign have been brain washed with the 'freedom to speech' drivel. Wasting your times drawing pictures on some forum to show that you are free, to speech ?

get some jobs ! get the euro back up, ****s sakes.

Well I guess the thing you've got to keep in mind that the Loud mouth type atheist is just more visible than the meh don't care atheist... Much like the loud mouth theist is more visible than the sorts that think that Jesus basically said "wouldn't it be nice if everyone was nice" and remember to think of their religion once in a blue moon ...

The thing is that when you don't believe in gods and you see little Timmys mom and dad thanking God on the news rather than the guy that pulled him out of the lake/burning car or what ever ... That grinds on your nerves.

The nonbeliever is often surrounded with religious imagry, most of which is ignored... but then someone says, "you're going to hell" or "you can't be good with out God" at that point you stand up can say "that person is crazy" or ignore them...

But you might right ... Atheist think about religion more than the average believer... because the average believer pretty much gets as far as "yeah, I guess I believe in God, I mean I don't really give it much thought but there's gotta be something out there right?."

Which is more embarrasing that the nonbelievers may have given there possition more thought than the believers?
Or that the or that the believers haven't given much thought at all?

I'd love to know where you got this information.

With all due respect to my fellow artists, most of these pictures don't look like they took more than a minute to produce.
