    Ok I'll play.

Here's one. We can (nearly) all look at something and see it and describe its colour as "red" or "blue" or "green" or whatever and we can all generally agree that we're seeing the same thing eg we can all look up in the sky and agree it is "blue".

However what I like to ponder is, is my idea of what is "blue" is actually the same as what you/him or her percieve it to be "blue"? eg I could ask you what colour the sky is and you would say "blue" but if I could hop into your mind and actually use your eyes and brain I would see a colour that I have spent my life referring to as "green" or "red" etc

It's basically color-blindness, with number of infinite lucky coincidences. The ultimate irony of all this I have trouble actually explaining what the hell I am talking about whenever I mention it to people.

I used to think about this all the time. Asked one of my teachers about it when I was younger, was hard to explain it to him though. Turns out we're thinking of "qualia", the subjective quality of a conscious experience. Subject of much philosophical debate, apparently. John Locke came up with the "inverted spectrum" idea in the 1600's. And I thought I was so original. Dayum.

These days, I'm a lot less philosophical. When I'm bored I think about how cool it would be to own the Matrix, or at least a scaled-down version. And not powered by people. Something like the Artificial Reality Suite from Red Dwarf, maybe. Total immersion gaming, how cool would that be? :D

When watching a not so poplular movie I always wonder how many people are watching it and are thinking my exact thoughts at the exact same point in the movie.

    There must be 1 right??

Why specifically a "not so popular movie"?

Just to narrow down the numbers really. So there's only really a handful of us watching the same movie at that exact time.

If it was a popular movie the chance of more people watching it are higher.

But thinking the same thing I'm thinking when I'm watching it, well, there's got to be one.

When Space ends and you can't go no further, what's there to stop you .. and where is that? It has to be somewhere .. and that somewhere has to be somewhere also .. and so and so forth.

Oh wow. I didn't realise you meant someone, somewhere, watching the same movie at the exact same time... I suppose the chances of someone thinking the same thing as you depends on how well the movie draws you in. Example- 2 people watching The Shining at the same time probably share some thoughts. "An axe! Uh-oh, there's Johnny!" But take 2 people watching, say, Love Actually. One person could be thinking "Hugh Grant, he's just so charmingly befuddled!", while the other could be thinking "I want to punch him in his befuddled face". Although, if you were of the latter category, why would you be watching it in the first place? Hmm. You've given me something to mull over. Touché.

My mind always wanders to the point that I wonder how I ever get things done:

If I'm in the post office / bank in a long-ass queue I start scoping the area out as if I'm casing the joint :pac: Find all possible security sensors / cameras and imagine how the scenario would go if I whipped out a gun or broke into the place at night.

Is someone watching me on my webcam?

Before I turn on the news is there gonna be a mention of a zombie outbreak / apocalyptic meteor coming?

When sitting in a car I stare out the window and imagine an invisible guy is running alongside us jumping and dodging obstacles like walls and trees. :p

What kind of mindset would a sick-in-the-head person mentally have to be in to do some horrible damage to another human being.

Imagine how a movie would go if it had a different ending - Arnie doesn't lower himself in Terminator 2 and instead hangs around.

What would a black, ginger, Asian man look like?

With enough planning could I actually trick someone into believing I didn't actually exist and was just a figment of their imagination?

I wonder what someone on another planet is doing right now.

Try and comprehend where the universe ends and what's there.

colour-blindness test, problem solved. They can spot them pretty well in electrical industries.

or i would say to myself, if i did that, what would happen, and i would make up a story in my head with dialogue and everything. i probably should write some of them down, i have some crazy adventures :)

I actually do this too, when I'm out for a walk usually. When Madeleine McCann went missing first, I used to be walking up to collect my son from school and I would create scenarios in my head like for example 'imagine if I saw wee Maddie being bundled out of a car into a house, what would I do'...then I'd imagine myself saving her..:o

Other times, I just think about what I'm going to wear to such a place or what I'm having for tea.

Slaughtering vast amounts of women and children to fuel my sadistic uncontrolable urge to cause pain and suffering...

...sometimes I think about rainbows though, but not as much as murdering.

If you tied a big long (and super tough) rope to the space shuttle, then it takes off, and you tie the other end around you, could you fly through the sky at the speed the shuttle is going in orbit?
