*shrugs* What you drink doesn't make you gay.

That said, most cider is manky (apart from pear and mixed fruit Kopparberg) and I'd much prefer a good German beer. Erdinger please. :D

I never really thought about this until I witnessed a fair bit of slagging the other day, so what do you lot think when one lad has a cider, while others have something else?
Does it question his sexual orientation?
    Vote if you dare!:D

When he was having his cider, was it being inserted, can/bottle and all into his bottom?
If not, then no, it would make me think he was gay.
    Plus i drink it!

That's a given but I'd hate to be stuck beside a five year old who looks like his drinking the same thing.

Nicest Kopparberg is Apple & Lime but it's hard to come by. I only know a couple of pubs that sell it, and I've never seen it in an off-licence.

I never got the "apple" flavoured Kopparbergs. Apple flavoured? Aren't they all apple flavoured? Don't all ciders have apples in them?

Linden Village flagons all the way.

Village obviously comes from the Village people so yes - drinking cider is gay.

Pah! Linden Village is over priced muck. Crumton Oaks is a premium cider in a flagon, at a low low price. In a can though it has to be Druids

Are you thinking of Taurus? The lidl cider? Scrumpy Jack was the big one a few years ago. Crumpton Oaks is the cheapest one available anymore but its still probably one of the nicest!

Bulmers = Cider, which I hate. Budweiser = real drink and my poison of choice when I did drink.
Budweiser = Beer. I hate all beer. Used to like Bulmers, but stopped as pubs tend to give you either watered down sh|te, or acidic sh|te that kills your stomach. Kopparberg isn't bad.

    Just remembered, its Devils bit.

Where do you get that Crumpton Oaks?

    "it depends"

If you're drinking linden village devils bit or a scrumpy jack you're probably all man.

If you're squeeking like a moron and on some kopperberg nonsense you're probably an arse bandit.

Ah devils bit is even dearer than Linden Village! But it's actually kinda nice. I've only ever seen it in Tesco. Tesco Value Strong Dry Cider (with the black lable) is ok. But weak in flavour though

Well no not if they are made from pear or berry etc

I get it in the off licence in Donnybrook. Really nice drink. There are a few other varieties knocking around that don't seem to be in Ireland.

As for a lad being gay if he drinks cider....eh no! To me, all beer tastes like pi$$. Or what I assume it to taste like anyway :D

I don't think any drink makes someone gay.

I wouldn't drink Bulmers nor Budweiser, but if there was decent cider going, I might be tempted in warm weather as a bit of a thirst quencher. Some traditional French ciders are nice.

If I'm drinking beer, it will actually be beer, not beer flavoured water.

I drink about 5 cans of Manly Inch's stone house cider
each night every night, nice stuff and its nice Manly stuff
that would put hairs on your chest! none of this light weight pussy ****e horse piss water that could be called Larger or beer.

Pear Koppaberg is a worrying drink though, drink a few cans of it and your Piss starts to smell of rose petals and I could swear it would glow under black light, drank gallons of it one night and could not get drunk from it and was fairly alarmed when needing to visit the ol piss pot.

All that so called berry ****e cider even with the higher %
still wont get you drunk as fast as good ol 6% cheap nasty
    apple cider.

I've heard from anyone who has drank it, that Bulmers Pear is the best laxative known to man

Guinness isn't a beer though! You really can't compare it to beers... You'd drink a Guinness and a beer at two completely different times

    Guinness is a beer.

I'm a girl and I like cider... and in the past I've preferred kissing guys who have been drinking cider than lager lets say, it just tastes better..

So no, i don't think it makes you seem 'gay'...

Thats the most juvenile thing i've heard in a long while

Assigning sexual preferences to others on the basis of inanimate possessions is a sure sign that one's own sexual preference is probably being desperately concealed.

Also: I've known quite a few macho nutters to drink cider down the years.
