You're so organised, I need to take a leaf outta your book! You'll def not have to worry about paperwork getting on top of you when you get in! ;)

Hey all, been following this thread since before my ist mid march but not posted anything until now. Must say I've found most of the advice and links pretty useful(particularly beca, legend). Anywhom, just got my letter today after a bit of fretting and passed. Deeelighted:D. Hopefully catch those successful on the A/C thread and hard luck to those that didn't make it, hope it doesn't deter you from trying again for bigger and better things

    Passed IST!!!!! WOOHOO!

Although the terror is setting in for my first attempt at the A/C haha....I look quite young for 21, still get ID'd going out...so I hope the role play actors don't get too stuck into me as a result!

Well pleased as I failed it last year with 53...

Anyone heard what the pass mark is this year, As far as I can remember from my fail letter it was 55 last year!

To pass this time around you had to get 53. My mate got 37. Feel so sorry for him, can only imagine howd id feel if i didnt pass :(

oh and congrats Gary + everyone else who passed, best of luck with the A/C.

How did u find the IST? both time wise and the difficulty of the questions?

If anyone else who's passed wants to answer that also then please go ahead aha. I'm so eager to know what everyone thought of the IST because im applying when the next campaign starts.

First part I thought was pretty easy, got it all done in the time given with time to check over it all

The second half is a different story, I had about the last 6 questions unanswered as far as I can remember, however I marked "A" for them all, so maybe picked up the odd mark from doing that.

The second half is the sorta thing you could answer it 100% if you'd maybe an hour to do it in, the pressure starts to build I found and you begin to rush, I think thats why I failed the first time, I started to panic and couldn't think to clearly...Was alot more relaxed this time round.

Is it possible to get your IST score if you pass, It doesn't seem to be on my pass letter.

well at least you passed :D

hope i can pass it when the time comes.

My mates score was on his letter, but then again he failed. But maybe if you contacted deloitte they'd tell you your score :)

Then again there may be a reason its not printed on your letter. :S

last year, they emailed people back with the anwser, I tried to email them but no response yet, but maybe theyr still busy posting the final letters. hopefully after that, im dead keen to know what i actually got!

Was it for the ist or ac that they sent some people out a second letter to say they failed even though thefirst one said they passed!?

Last year, I'm sure I read it on one of the threads, just can't remember if it was ac or ist, will have to go searching..

dont remember that but i dissapeared off boards for ages last year after my IST fail :(

the year before that, they sent out the results with the pass mark set at 54 (i think) and then had to mail out to people to say they were dropping the pass mark down to 52 or something and that they had actually passed

I reckon you're best not knowing your pass mark. The pass mark this year is 53, and say you found out you scored 54, i.e. passed by the skin of your teeth. For the rest of the campain you're going to be subconsciously thinking 'AM I good enough?'

I think it's best assuming you scored almost 100% in the IST, bit of a morale booster.

    Just my POV anyway..

Here's fail number 6 from the south. I was 4 marks shy of the pass mark. Definitly will give it another go. Second part of test got me I'd say. Can you get feedback on the test does anyone know?

Ah you've just made me think twice about emailing for my mark! I was all set for emailing them as soon as I got my letter, never got round to doing it yet, and now I don't know if I want to or not! I know curiosity will get the better of me sooner or later, but finding out I just hit the pass mark, especially seeing as I could possibly have passed this year with a lower mark than I got last year...really would bring my happiness down a bit, but then again, a pass is a pass :o

Do you just email them with your UID and request your mark or do you need to give any other details?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 24 Eddyman1234

I'm not even sure that they will give it out, because I was told last year that I would not receive any information about the IST until after you get the feedback for your assessment centre. I might be wrong, but that is what I remember.

And also, I don't think they give you any detailed feeback on the IST, as the letter tha I received just broke the marks down into the 2 different parts
